Overall it was a good experience. The night staff was ver accommodating, we wanted to get a drink, although it was already close to midnight, and he was nice and very helpful. Bathroom was a little dirty.

This was a lovely property in a great location

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, very courteous staff, but parking is very limited. We had to drive around the area for quite a while to find a space. Parking is not included as advertised. They have a very small lot which was full and double parked. City center location was noisy.

air conditioning did not work correctly so room was like a oven, wifi was slowest i have ever had in a hotel, could do with a fridge in the room. staff were very friend and helpful

Location was good and the stay went well overall. Only thing is that attention to detail was a bit lacking. It felt like they weren’t really prepared for us to arrive to the room. The lights weren’t working properly and the shower soap that’s fixed on the wall was shut so we couldn’t get any soap out until we ourselves had to figure out how to open it. Just little things like that, but otherwise good.

The reception staff is very friendly and professional. Room is a little outdated, but overall ok. Location is great, walking distance to old town and shopping area.

We booked a room in the Best Western Plus , but due to Covid 19, we had to stay in the Best Western City Hotel a few 100m down the road. The rooms were a bit on the small side in this hotel. My colleague ended up in a room with a single bed, even though we booked 2 twin-bed rooms. Fortunately the reception was able to move my colleague to a proper room (thanks!). The parking there is a bit of a hassle, and the hallway was a bit smelly... Rooms were ok, and you are really in the city center, close to all sorts of food.

It was a perfect spot and location to explore the area and provide space for work and exploring

Everything was great. Very friendly personal, especially the nice woman at breakfast :) Great stay!

Located right in the center close to nice restaurants around. Tram service available to travel around the town and 6 minutes ride to Braunschweig Hbf.

Luck was on my side. A hotel within walking distance of everything, including the December 2018 Christmas Market in Braunschweig. Nice. Healthy & Environmentally-friendly as no transportation was needed. Though, public transit (tram & bus) were frequent and available, along with sufficient taxis. Great mobility plan.

Period style hotel on the edge of Braunscweig's Historic Center. Very pleasing to the eye as you enter, well furnished and looks inviting. My single room on the ground floor was very nicely furnished with a large bathroom, big screen TV and plenty of space. There's tea/coffee facilities, safe, products in the bathroom. My only problem was the room was in a busy location next to the lifts and rear parking lot. Fortunately it was nice and quiet at bed time. The staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good in a really nice restaurant which was tastefully decorated for the Christmas period. Residents can also use a nearby gym free of charge. I have no problem recommending this hotel. For anyone who is interested there is an excellent Christmas Market close by.

Very fast check-in, interior controlled access and surveilled parking, big clean and bright room, great bedding facilities, rich breakfast and nice staff. Downsides: slow internet speed... Everything was perfect otherwise!

Everything was fine.As a vegetarian, I especially enjoyed the breakfast. Eventhough there were many meat options the options of fruits and vegetables were also great

The hotel was excellent, particularly for the very reasonable price, which included breakfast and on site car parking. The location is right in the town centre. The building is elegant with a really luxurious feel, which continued into the large and very comfortable bedroom. The breakfast room was spacious and airy and the buffet was good. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there is plenty of choice in the immediate surroundings. The only negative is that the hotel doesn’t have a lively atmosphere, perhaps it’s because it’s a former convent, the bar was empty on a Saturday night. The town itself is lively enough and has retained, or restored, many historic buildings, of which the cathedral is a particular gem.
