酒店設施及衛生都很好，但因沒有冷氣，被子又太保暖，蓋了很熱，不蓋又很冷，所以整晚都不能入睡！

Fantastic Staff, friendly atmosphere - Don't be put off by the exterior which looks dated but inside the hotel is great, clean and very well run. Great views and easy access to the beach and sea front and pool next door. The only negative thing i noticed was one lift button was broken. Very well run, fantastic staff who did everything they could to help thank you.

Poor customer service, delayed by 2hr check in till room was cleaned. Very little staff, People at bar left because no one to serve you. Coffee machine broken. Overcooked sausages - yuk. Could do with a good clean on the stairs. Room was ok but dated, was clean and had a sea view. Tea and coffee in room. Would I return - maybe not. In good location to the beach and local amenities. Recommend Cinnamon Indian down the road.

This is an example of how you should never judge a book by the cover. On arrival, the hotel looked extremely dated, lacking the welcome most would expect. As soon as I walked through the main entrance my opinion immediately changed, what a transformation. It is clear a great deal of time, effort and money has been injected into this hotel. The staff, the food, a little slow in being served, but worth the wait, all first class. My room on the 3rd floor was also immaculately done and extremely comfortable.

The hotel could really do with some renovating, and generał tidying up on the grounds to make it more presentable. It does the job basically.

The hotel seems to be a shadow of its own glory. Staffs were nice and helpful. We went there during the time when hot wave hitting the UK in July 2026. The room has no A/C and walking into the room feels like walking into a sauna. It was not at all comfortable. Good view of Aberavon beach from the room though.

The hotel is across a road from the beach but little road noise was heard. The view is lovely from most rooms here. The hotel has been updated recently but still has that olde worlde feel. It has character. The staff are very friendky and accomodating. I would definitely stay again.

Always have a lovely stay , we are regulars here due to visiting family who live close by. My only issue is lack of air conditioning. We were given a fan but it didn't alter the temperature at all. I understand it is unusually hot right now and therefor limited to what can be done so I feel its time Best Western invested in this little gem of a hotel. Breakfast was average.

Good location next to the beach

Was a very nice stay, can see some work has been done to the inside, unfortunately no pool now but you can get a 1 hour free accross the road to use the main pool. Rooms are nice but warm as no aircon but do supply a fan for you all.

Doesn't look pretty from the outside, but inside is OK. Room reasonable and breakfast OK, nothing too special. Great location by the beach however.

no complaints about the hotel or the helpful staff. It might be somewhat dated in appearance, but the hotel was perfectly comfortable for myself and I was particularly impressed with the breakfast location and food on offer. So too the helpful and friendly lady on duty in the morning in the breakfast room.

It was a lovely hotel & hotel staff were helpful

Stayed here for 1 night, single traveller and dog. Easy to park, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Barman was really nice friendly and happy, which was welcomed after a long day. I was able to sit in the lounge area with the dog to eat dinner which was nice (a bit greasy but still nice) Room was clean and comfortable. Lifts to floors available. A bit surprised that a dog friendly hotel doesn’t have any outdoor bins for dog waste. Reception helped to dispose but there should be an outdoor bin. Breakfast was a couple of minutes late opening, which I know is picky but I was on a tight schedule so every minute counts! Also the milk for tea and coffee was off (not noticed by staff) and there was no more available. Overall a nice place for the money. Right on the beach. Would stay again.
