I recently stayed at The Phu Beach Ao Nang, and while there were some good points, a few things left me disappointed. The hotel itself has a nice layout and the pool area is a highlight, but they hosted a pool party with extremely loud music—think concert-level noise—from the afternoon until around 10 pm, which made it hard to relax in the room. There were also quite a few ants in my room, and I was surprised to find that they provided torn towels. On the positive side, I really appreciated the excellent service from the Malay male receptionist who was very helpful and welcoming. It would also be fantastic if the hotel could consider offering a halal breakfast option to better cater to Muslim guests.
