Nice hotel, good location, lost a star due to creaking floorboards and noisy hand dryer in the restaurant toilets obviously just below our room!

Ruime kamer en goed verblijf. Douche was alleen niet constant op temperatuur, en wat oude kit randen. Gegeven de prijs wel goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Great stay. Lovely hotel rooms. Comfy bed and great local amenities. Cooked breakfast price was a big much I thought.

Calm and quiet area, but still close to everything

Room was clean and cosy. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Great location to Jesmond and Newcastle.

Breakfast was not to expectations, only one tiny croissant. Room was clean except a web hanging right over the bed from the ceiling. Parking was okay.

Yes it was for hospital stay staff helped ordering taxis for us and staff very friendly as he was alone part of the time

Friendly Staff at Reception and Breakfast. Single room was very comfortable. Good bed and shower.

The room was clean and tidy, warm throughout the night which was comfortable. The one thing that was annoying was there was an inch gap under the door which the hall light shone in under the door the whole night.

Hotel was connected to a lovely indian streetfood restaurant.

Room 19 cold, radiator off bed hard as were pillows Room 12 very smelly from kitchen and incredible noisy from kitchen too Neither of us slept for any length of time Fire alarm went off and stayed on for sometime (no fire!) my son is having heart surgery today so this was not ideal!

Where do I start, The window had a gap so there was constant breeze coming in, Bare in mind it’s the middle of winter. Then went to turn the radiator on and that didn’t work so it was Baltic in the room 24/7. Then on my second day there was no cold water for around 3 hours so I couldn’t flush the toilet, have a shower you know all the basic things you get when you pay a few hundred quid! Also no plug sockets next to the bed which isn’t a big problem but you would have thought there would be more than 2 that aren’t at the other side of the world. There was also loads of like grime on the bath plug looked like algae or something so didn’t bother having a bath just stuck to showers to be safe. Overall by far the poorest hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed in some dumps Curry house next door was nice tho

Great service, clean rooms

The location is great and it’s very close to the local Metro station so you can get around the area easily. That said, this is a budget hotel so I was managing my expectations. The room was clean and tidy but it would be nice if they could clean the mould off the grout in the bathroom. I also got the impression that the hotel was a side hustle and that the Indian restaurant on the ground floor was their main priority - because what else can explain the fact that the corridors and stairways smelled strongly of curry? I booked this hotel because it was meant to be a quiet one (a fact implied by their refusal to accommodate hen and stag parties) but unfortunately there was a party in the bar on the Saturday evening and music was exceptionally loud and could be heard throughout the hotel, even in my room. When I spoke to reception staff (at the time and also the following morning) they said they knew nothing about the party and there was no manager available to talk to. I probably won’t be booking with them again.

A decent hotel, but as others have noted the lack of parking is an issue - we parked a 10 minute walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Would thoroughly recommend the Indian restaurant within the same building.
