We truly enjoyed our stay at Orton Hall. We love traditional hotels with charachter. The grounds were lovely and walkable. Would stay again.

Whilst only a one-night stay, everything was perfect. All staff friendly and clearly properly trained. I particularly appreciated the spontaneous mini-tour of this historic building and brief summary of its history

It’s very tired and unloved

Our hotel room was very tired, surprisingly no water left out for guests. No robes, slippers or the little extras that most hotels offer now. Charging for slippers, extra towels for pool etc.

We had a few days stay over a long weekend and I can say the staff were excellent and the spa and pool were great and just what we wanted I would return again

Very dated , infestation of flies in the bathroom due to drainage issue. Curtains didn’t close properly , paint off walls , bathroom unfit to use. Was advertised as 4 star , certainly not 4 star at all . Spoke with the hotel complained and left photos

Unique, old Manor House and Inn style pub next door to hotel. Fantastic venue.

Historic property with good services and spa facility. Great to explore surrounding areas. Good meal selections and prices moderate.

We had the windows wide open and fan on all night. Problem is there's a brick wall outside the window which stops any breeze, so room just didn't cool down.

Friendly

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. Menu choice for dinner not great. Public areas and bedroom a little tired and the WiFi was truly awful in my bedroom, iPhone/ipad just wouldn’t stay connected. Overall a little disappointing.
