Place was nice, staff was friendly and helpful, food was good the room we were in was a bit shabby and no parking

Helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Annoying light in the ceiling that glowed all night.

Staff , reception and welcome along with a comfortable room and en-suite excellent. Our disappointment was that it was a little too far away from Appledore for us . We believed we could walk to Appledore in 15 minutes . Yes , if the tide is in and you catch the ferry. Our hearts sank on arrival as the whole frontage of the inn had scaffolding giving the impression the inn was closed completely. Our agent didn’t warn us of this … In the end we enjoyed our time at the wayfarer inn.

The room was very clean and spacious. The bar was not open while we stayed but the breakfast was very good.

A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend.
