Quiet and clean

After staying at this hotel, I developed many red itchy bumps on my skin, which makes me feel that the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. I was very uncomfortable during my stay. In addition, I don’t think the pricing was fair. The listing stated that the charge for each dog should be £10 per night, but I was charged £20 per dog.

The Hotel is in a beautiful location, close to central Fort William. Twin room size was a bit small, but clean enough in room and ensuite. However, we also had another room for my elderly mum and we requested an access room of which was big. But, the bathroom was not clean. There was rust on the rails and mould on tile grouting. Also, there was no seat for the bath, having a seat over the tub is the most important equipment for access room. Without a seat over the bath you can't advertise as an access room. Otherwise, stay was pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast staff was nice and buffet options was good.

The hotel is well placed for people wanting to explore the area. The staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, even though they were always busy. The room was clean and well equipped although we did have to ask for some extra pillows but as I said it was not too much trouble. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that but the bar staff were lovely and helpful. I will say that the hotel could do with a bit of TLC, but it was clean and had everything we needed. I will say though get rid of the shower curtains and replace them with a screen that is my only criticism.

We had a lovely stay at the Caledonian Hotel in Fort William. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great for exploring the area. We also had breakfast, which was very nice and a great way to start the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

Clean room. Easy drive to Ft William or Glencoe. Parking good. Decor slightly dated. Restaurant so-so but breakfast good & good value.

The hotel was clean and easy to find and park. It is outdated and outlets and blow dryer didn’t work. The restaurant is nice to have at the hotel but the food was not very good.

Embora seja longe do centro da cidade para ir a pé, o hotel é bem localizado, em frente ao lago, com bela vista e bom espaço para estacionar. No entanto, para vários funcionários deste hotel, o hóspede é um estorvo. Os funcionários do café da manhã são estúpidos. E o café da manhã é caro pelo que oferece: além disso, não há nenhum queijo e nenhum fiambre.

Staff lovely no problems. We had a dripping noise in our room which reception staff came and fixed abit, but we still had a slight noise from the issue. No other room was available. But big problem was some staying may not realise is that the anyone outside can see straight into the rooms. There is nothing on the windows, need to pull the curtains. Most people would assume they are unseen from outside. We only stayed one night. Food was good & place had nice vibe due to friendly staff.

My room was fine, the properties OK

一見古そうで期待外れかと思っていましたが夕食時、朝食時のスタッフがとてもフレンドリーでにこやかで好感が持てました。2つの大きな団体と一緒でしたがスタッフが上手にコントロールして快適に過ごせました。

The room had no view and the back side facing rooms were not worth the cost

Rooms need to be modernised. Food and Staff were outstanding

Unacceptable room conditions and it took a medical condition for them to move us. Reserved based on photos of renovated rooms, but our family was placed in 3 VERY outdated and run down rooms. Asked to be moved and they said they couldn’t accommodate us and there was no manager on site. Our room had a very strong smell from previously spilled perfume and they acknowledged housekeeping reported the problem to them before our arrival only after several complaints and simply offered a fan to help “air out” the room. After several hours, I started having an allergic reaction and said we had to sleep in the car due to the strong odor. Only then did the front desk moved us to a renovated room.

The staff at this hotel as really helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Although an older hotel, it seems to be well maintained.
