Small nice room

The hotel us situated at the outskirt of Sheffield town centre and about halfway between city centre and Meadowhall Shopping Centre (which is also where coach station is situated). The room is relatively small for two people. There is a desk and only one chair within the room and another guest has to sit on the bed. The TV signal reception is very poor. It is not possible to watch TV in the room. Bathroom/toilet is clean and well maintained. The room has no hot water boiler. But free coffee and tea are available free at reception lobby. There is no drawer or cabinet within the room. So. There is no place to put our personal belongings. Breakfast food is fairly good and is reasonbly priced.

The room was very nice and clean, staff were helpful. The only annoying thing is there is no kettle or tea/coffee in the room and there was an additional charge for hot drinks at the reception for £1.95 which isn't that much but it soon mounts up. That's the only downside of the hotel.

Very basic, clean but small. We stayed here due to an event at Sheffield Arena, otherwise we’d have chosen somewhere else. Something to note parking is £9 and is valid from check-in until 12 the next day only

The room was spotless, and the pool area was lovely and well maintained. Unfortunately, the location wasn't ideal. It's quite out of the way unless you're happy to hire a car, use the bus, or pay for taxis, which are very expensive. That said, the on-site car hire was reasonably priced and didn't require any hefty deposits. The food was the biggest disappointment. I'm not a fussy eater by any means, but the buffet lacked both quality and variety compared to other all-inclusive resorts I've stayed at. The snack bar served gyros, but they were very greasy, and the chips often looked and tasted as though they'd been sitting out for a long time with flies around them. We also tried the Japanese restaurant, but unfortunately that wasn't much better. The rice was hard and dry, and the soup looked more like a bowl of oil than soup. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and really went out of their way to help, which was definitely a positive. Overall, I wouldn't stay at this property again. The combination of the poor location and disappointing food meant it didn't offer good value for the price we paid.

I hate to leave negative reviews on businesses but I have to call out this place. The rooms were nice and looked clean. We were only here for 3 to 4 hours before checking out at 430am. During my stay here I started to get an itch on my arm while I was sleeping on the bed. I didn’t pay too much attention to it since we were very limited in time but during my plane ride home my arms started to feel itchy from time to time. It wasn’t til we got home 15 hours later when I saw bed bug bites on my arm. Before this we had stayed at an air b n b and we didn’t have issues til we got here to this place. After I saw the bites I started quarantining all the clothes and backpacks we brought down with us. Not something you want to do after a very long trip but if we didn’t quarantine the clothes and backpacks we could have ended up with an infestation at our home.

Great hotel while visiting the ice rink for a tournament. The room was comfortable and nicely cool during the recent heatwave. . Couldn’t get into the car park but found on street parking nearby.

A basic hotel, literally priced because of its location. Do not expect any complimentary water in the room! Take your own.

Great place to stay and soo convenient for the arena - perfect night (and parking too)

Lift was broken, but luckily only on the second floor. No offer of help with luggage. Room was basic with no kettle or hairdryer. Really convenient for the Arena and only a short tram ride to Meadowhall. Would consider staying again, but would depend on who I was travelling with as the only way out of the shower was into the room, and there wasn't enough room in there to get dressed.

Very expensive for a budget hotel, no tea and coffee in the room, room very small and not much in it. Location is great for the Arena.

For the price right next to the arena it was great, could of done with another pillow and bedding rustling when any movement but for price was fab

When we arrived, the manager was very friendly & helped Carrie bags to the room, as the lift was not working, he apologised for this, & told use, to call reception, if we needed any help, over the next 2 days, Which we did, On several occasions, as room was on 4th floor, Staff always responded to our, requests for help, in a friendly way, nothing was to much trouble, This is the 3rd time I've stayed here, last 2 occasions the lift was working, The aircon in the room, really helped, as there was a heat wave, the weekend of my stay, the staff have always been, friendly & helpful here, That's why I've booked my room again, for next year's convention.

Hotel was good, needs a refresh but it was convenient for the arena - just a short walk away

Clean room, no separate shower room all in same room. No drink facilities in room but can be purchased from reception at a cost. Parking chargeable, plenty to do near by and in walking distances with plenty of nice food restaurant choices, bowling alley, cinema, mini golf, monkey business kids play area.

De kamer was klein maar schoon. De eerste nacht niet kunnen slapen omdat het bed verschrikkelijk hard was. Matras dun en doorgelegen en de lattenbodem eronder was "verstevigd " met een dwarsbalk waardoor de lattenbodem geen functie meer had. Een extra matras was er niet (hoe moet dat dan als er iemand een ongelukje heeft?) Maar ik heb een extra dekbed meegekregen die ik 2x dubbelgevouwen op het matras kon leggen. Nog niet comfortabel maar wel minder slechte geslapen.

I always stay here when Sheffield. It's friendly, clean and comfortable. I will continue to stay here in the future

If you looking hotel next to the Sheffield Ice Rink, this is best,just next to the Ice Rink. Clean, enough parking, great facilities, very helpful staff. Only remember, this is budget hotel, not 5 star hotel. For the Budget hotel, absolutely great.
