This was my 7th stay at the Sunny Guest House in Bhaktapur. The staff has always been amazing. Very attentive. Nice sized rooms. Very clean. Hot water. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kathmandu.

The Sunny guest house was a good choice in a great location and we were surprised to find we were the only guests. Large nicely decorated room as per photos. Large clean bathroom. We initially had a problem with hot water, but this was quickly fixed and we had a nice warm shower. It was the end of November and while the room was slightly chilly, there were electric blankets on the bed so we were warm at night. Lovely breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with great views of the nearby pagoda and the Himalayas in the distance.

This was the best start to our stay in Nepal. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms with plenty local character, and a great place to relax back and absorb the sights and sounds of Bhaktapur.

Sunny Guest House is a nice convenient place to stay. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. Also, if it's clear, you can get a nice view of the Himalayas from the roof. The only drawback was some noisy people in the stairwell when I was trying to sleep, but other than that it was great............
