Friendly staff and i know the room was only around £60 but stains on wall not really acceptable - looked like a drink had be thrown. Also bathroom door looked like it had been punched and repaired poorly

I attend a conference in Hull every year and the hotel is very close to meeting building. I just cross the road to attend the conference. It is an old building but the room is clean and the bed was comfortable.

Very comfortable hotel ,excellent bed, great staff, very helpful. Good breakfasts , easy parking. Stayed G O Mare '24, now '25 . Hope to stay again soon. Anthony Le Fanu

The staff on arrival were frendly and helpful room was normal but bath mat had what looked like blood on it and bath towels had yellow stains on them both food was good as always waiter was polite and friendly drinks serve was nice and polite breakfast lady was a little rude food was ok

Walls are very paper thin. Service is good. Rooms are about twenty years outdated. Cheap and cheerful.

Easy parking at the rear, Swift check in. Clean and spacious room with great shower (rm9), 20% off food downstairs in the pub.

Had a good time

Radiators not working in room or bathroom Requested a heater but had to leave on all night which gave me a headache. Bathroom was separate so remained freezing. No hot water from taps so no bath only hot water from shower. all this on a very cold Jan night.

Dated room and no hot water in the evening and just enough for a shower in the morning

Room was basic but clean so it was ok for a one or two nights stay. Food in pub was good and service was prompt.Was allocated a room at rear of pub which was quiet. Car park at rear was handy.

I've stayed here before, so knew what to expect.. A friendly check in, comfy bed, nice breakfast.. Great all round stay

Loved the stay. Room was a great size, very comfortable. Food was nice. Staff were brilliant. ONLY gripe is my room was above some external fans. Despite shutting the windows and wearing ear plugs i still didnt sleep too well BUT aside from that the stay was great.

There was lots of steps up and down to get to the room i was in for saying the football was on i coukent hear the people shutting from my room

The staff were brilliant we happened to be there on quiz night that was very entertaining. Food was really nice great value and you get 20% off as a hotel guest. Highly recommend

This was an older building, so it had a few areas that didn’t work well. (Room size, the loo, noisy hallway) The staff is excellent, eager to help and quickly answered any questions we had. The food in the pub was very nice and the service was great.
