Clean and comfy good food at the bar new menu had just come in so lots to choose from

Seule la personne a l’enregistrement était sympa. La nourriture est infâme les hash brown avaient un goût de rance les plats servis le soir sont immonde. La chambre est vieille il y a des grosses traces d’humidité sur les murs et les wc étaient sales. Le lit est la seule chose propre et confortable. Les chambres sont mal isolées et au dessus du pub. On entend la musique du pub dans les chambres.

Upon my arrival. I was greeted my the landlord. I was made to feel welcomed. I asked if they could put football on while I had my dinner. They could not have been more helpful. Friendly chat. Staff were amazing. Totally recommended. If I am in the area again. I will definitely stay here.

Clean, basic, room for the price. Great location to the university.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was basic but clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.

The room and ensuite were spotless, we arrived after the cut-off time but were still welcome as it was only 5 minutes late. The manager called us to make sure we still wanted the room around 9 pm and we said we did but would be just late as we were marshalling on a local rally, pity we missed the bar but that was our fault. 5*

Check in was quick an easy. Out of hours access was also handy. We were not that impressed by the room. We didn't complain as we were only staying for one night and had plans to meet family and friends so only needed somewhere to sleep. It was also cheap. However, the soap dispenser and tissue dispenser had fallen off the wall and were just balanced on the shelf. The bedding had lots of stains, tiles were falling off in the bathroom and the floorboards creaked throughout. The pub itself is lovely, the hotel side could just use a little renovation. However, if you want somewhere cheap around Newland Avenue, then here is an option
