設施殘舊, 需要翻新

The room and ensuite were spotless, we arrived after the cut-off time but were still welcome as it was only 5 minutes late. The manager called us to make sure we still wanted the room around 9 pm and we said we did but would be just late as we were marshalling on a local rally, pity we missed the bar but that was our fault. 5*

Check in was quick an easy. Out of hours access was also handy. We were not that impressed by the room. We didn't complain as we were only staying for one night and had plans to meet family and friends so only needed somewhere to sleep. It was also cheap. However, the soap dispenser and tissue dispenser had fallen off the wall and were just balanced on the shelf. The bedding had lots of stains, tiles were falling off in the bathroom and the floorboards creaked throughout. The pub itself is lovely, the hotel side could just use a little renovation. However, if you want somewhere cheap around Newland Avenue, then here is an option

All clean and service all good room very small and noisy due to being next to the fire door which slammed shut every time used

Member of staff stayed later than they were contracted to in order to accommodate our delayed arrival. Very attentive lady who we were very grateful of. Nice touch.

Friendly staff, great food and a good nights sleep. Always stay here when we go to hull.

I had a room in the back of the hotel near a noisy boiler / air conditioning unit. Given it was a warm evening in the summertime it was an uncomfortable night. The breakfast was fine and staff helpful.

On the whole very good , great value , clean , comfortable. A little tired but no issue Pub is also very nice and great ! Location for the University

Comfortable bed

Friendly staff and i know the room was only around £60 but stains on wall not really acceptable - looked like a drink had be thrown. Also bathroom door looked like it had been punched and repaired poorly
