這是我們在溫哥華島住到最棒的地方! 飯店的設計跟房間擺設、床鋪跟備品都很不錯。裡面的員工人也都很熱心，早餐非常好吃，老闆ROSS人也很好! 從飯店到湖邊很近也有平台跟舒適的椅子可以賞湖，這次比較可惜是來不及吃到他們餐廳的晚餐，有機會要去試試看! 交通位置就在高速公路主要幹道，所以也滿方便的! Best hotel in Vancouver island! We take a long distance and tiring flight from Taiwan to YVR. And it's such a pleasure to stay in this hotel for two nights. The cozy room did comfort our jet lag. I like the ambience and the design of the hotel . The bed is really soft and comfortable. Supreme shampoo and shower gel provided by the resorts are also quite amazing. Breakfast is also wonderful with handmade coffee and bread. And all the stuff of the resorts are nice and helpful. Special thanks to Ross for his kindness and wait for us for the first night. His great management of the resorts is also respectful and impressing.

We recently stayed at this resort and had a very unusual and uncomfortable experience. While the property itself was well-maintained and visually appealing, we were the only guests during our stay, and there were no staff members present on-site. Although there was a self check-in process, the complete absence of staff made us feel unsafe and uneasy, especially during the night. At the very least, having one or two staff members available on the property would have provided reassurance and basic support if needed. Due to this situation, we were unable to sleep properly and could not fully relax or enjoy our stay. Hospitality is not just about the physical space, but also about guest comfort and a sense of security, which was lacking in this case. We hope the management considers maintaining a minimal staff presence, even during low occupancy periods, to ensure guests feel safe and supported.

There was no hot tub.

In the Port Alberni area, Sproat lake landing was the best choice to stay at. Beautiful location. Nice, spacious rooms, great location, beautiful views. Booked the sauna and cold plunge tubs 👍

Beautiful view, lovely room. Phones were down, so communication beforehand was not possible - a bit stressful, as we knew that the front desk was not manned all the time. However, once we got there, Laura at the desk was great - helpful and friendly. We'd love to go back when the restaurant is open.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. The rooms were modern yet cozy, and felt higher end. The whole property was very clean and safe. Staff was phenomenal. They checked in with us ahead of our trip, again once we arrived and then again after check-in to make sure we had everything we needed. They were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during the winter so the price was so good, especially considering what we got. I have stayed at a few other hotel in Port Alberni due to kids sports and this blew the others away both with quality and then price. It was about 15 minutes out of town but honestly it made it quiet and safer. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
