Rooms up above the pro shop / restaurant need air conditioning, far too hot

Lovely hotel in fabulous grounds, friendly staff and excellent food at reasonable price. Five stars and definitely would stay here again.

Friendly staff, very nice room and lovely food from the restaurant

We paid extra to have a room with a walk un shower due to mobility issues to find that the rainfall shower head didnt work! Had to just make use of the hand held head. Also a few hairs in the shower.

Stayed over for work whilst also running a corporate golf day. Staff were first class and the stay was brilliant.

The hotel itself was brilliant but no one on reception till 8 was dissapointing and breakfast service was not great

Was a perfect mini break away

Nice place

Set on a golf course. The restaurant/ bar has a nice view of the lake. First room hadn't been cleaned and super strong smell of marijuana. Second room was fine, except the springs were coming out of the mattress at our feet. We only needed a one night stay so we couldn't be bothered to complain as there were no other rooms and I’m not sure if they have a night desk person.

I got back to my room and the key card didn't work. Called the help number several times and no one answered. Now standing in a corridor not knowing what to do!

A comfortable and tranquil stay

We went for a golf weekend and found that on the first day the tee times were not organised properly with golfers coming off the 18th and going off the 1st clashed with our group. The hotel ran out of lunch items on the Sunday and the breakfast offering was poor and not much thought given to it with items constantly running out and lack of imagination. The hotel lacked any leadership which was not apparent with services being left to junior members who did their best.

The members were lovely! We left a bag at the check in and they found our room and brought it back to us! The staff were great, the room was great, overall really nice place!
