Location-wise, not very convenient to be accessible to the downtown area. Also, the cable TV kept breaking down. However, the room is big.

I am extremely disappointed with our stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel at Sofia Airport. The air conditioning in the first room we were given did not work, despite the outside temperature being 34°C. We were then moved to a second room, where not only did the air conditioning not work, but there was also a malfunctioning toilet that caused the entire room to smell bad. The third room finally had working air conditioning and smelled clean and pleasant. However, the bathroom door could not be closed because it was badly warped, apparently due to mold and moisture. At that point, we had no choice but to move yet again. In the fourth room, there was still mold all over the bathroom door, although at least the air conditioning and other basic amenities were functioning. Having to move between four rooms during one stay is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as a Premier property. The repeated maintenance issues, mold, unpleasant odors, and lack of properly functioning air conditioning made our stay extremely uncomfortable and disappointing.

The check in was confusing. Eventually staff showed up. Did the job, but no more. Room was big, clean, and bed was fine. Couldn't really feel air conditioning. I was promised a robot to deliver room service. No robot. Food was terrible. Shuttle on time. That's the most I can say.

Excellent last minute accommodation

I was disappointed with the dining experience. After paying for my room with meal option, the staff provided little to no information about the dining options. If you're considering adding a dining package to your reservation, I would recommend skipping it and simply walking to the restaurant to order your meals directly. Another issue is that the restaurant has two different menus, but the staff did not inform us of this. Unless you specifically ask (information which should have been provided at check-in), you may only be shown one menu and miss other available options. Guests should be told about all dining choices so they can make an informed decision. Overall, the hotel should improve communication and transparency regarding its dining services. Better customer service and clearer information would greatly improve the guest experience.

Nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff

Prepaid dinner is not worth the money and extremely limited in option - essentially, one options for a salad and two options for the main meal (a vegetarian and not). Even the glass of water was for extra money :(

You can tell this used to be a really nice hotel, but it lost its franchise and the new owners are not maintaining it and keeping it up. Still, if you need a hotel near Sofia Airport this is the nicest one.

Personale var hjelpsomme, men for et slikt hotell til en slik pris forventes det mye mer enn vi fikk på rommet og ingen frokost fordi den var ekstremt dyr. Bestilte med en utsikt, fikk ett annet rom.

While it is certainly appreciated that the property has a shuttle to the airport, the road to it adjacent to the hotel is pretty beat up….
