Lovely and clean although noise from upstairs when staying on the ground floor was audible and seemingly unavoidable. That aside, it’s a cosy little spot that I would highly recommend as an affordable option to anyone looking to explore the Brecons. The information provided by the hosts on local amenities and things to do was thorough and very informative. All in all a solid stay.

Lovely place but the photos aren't too accurate. I was excited at first but underwhelmed when I saw it in real life. The room was too dark too. Location is okay and there's a nice Chinese restaurant Infront. Still worth the money though

Pretty reasonable place with easy parking and decent amenities

The room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room. Street parking available just outside the front door. A couple of convenience stores very close. Great location for visiting Merthyr.

My accommodation at James's Place was perfect for my needs. Modern and stylish design. Fresh and clean throughout. Nice touches such as Welsh cakes and milk on arrival. Great information shared about the local area. Would highly recommend 10/10

Great stay. Perfect to access the Brecons. Everything we needed in the studio. Very comfortable, clean, quiet with all facilities needed for our stay.

Easy stay, good, clean and well managed. Comms were excellent and highly detailed making pre/stay/exit very easy. Location very close in driving distances to the mountains and the local amenities in Merthyr. All highly recommended.
