Then when I told the person at the front desk nah, we don’t have bedbugs. Bull! I stayed on the second floor, with the Pokhara sign above the door. Quite loud right on the street, raucous exhausts echoing through a relatively narrow street at any time, and dogs fighting nightly. Luckily, i had earplugs as I had anticipated this kind of possibility. But as for getting bitten to high heaven, I had some off mosquito repellant I had picked up in Taiwan a while back that i had brought, and I believe that may have helped those bedbugs from biting me further. Anything good? Who cares. Bugs are biting me in the bed, the people that work there deny that, and that’s the end of the story.
