Second time here. Always a pleasant experience l. Friendly staff, clean environment, quiet too. Highly recommended for stays in Valencia or nearby Dumaguete

The Travelocity property description is misleading. The description says unit has AC. It only has AC (barely works) in the one bedroom with instructions not to open the bedroom doors to cool the entire unit to “avoid malfunction and accident due to wire shortage”. The rest of the apartment was like a hot sauna. There were ants crawling all over the kitchen counter. I will say the ants were more welcoming than the apartment host. Upon noticing all the above, my wife and I immediately checked out and retuned the key. My family was traveling with us and had reserved a different property through AirB&B. My wife and I had to find a more suitable and trustworthy accommodation. I requested a full refund but was denied by the Marpas host. Shame on Marpas for not being forthcoming regarding their property.

Stayed here for 12 days. Beautiful property and friendly staff and tenants. Felt like home. My gf and I stayed an additional 4 days here instead of going to downtown dumaguette. Walking distance to Valencia town square (12/13 mins).
