Staff really helpful hotel room was nice and clean just tied could do with a update and digital tv

Room was outdated, in need of refurbishment. Beds uncomfortable. The spa was in a state of dis repair, sharp edged tiles in the pool and hot tub area. Sauna was not working for 1 hour whilst we were there and no staff on hand for help. Staff were polite. Food was very good in the restaurant. Definitely not worth the money that i paid.

The pool area the river room is lush. The breakfast was stunning. The beds was so comfortable

Some rooms have mould/ damp issues. Location is wonderful. Staff very nice. Bedrooms and mattresses are dated. Food expensive, around £30 for a main but need to order veg as a side for most dishes!

Very helpful staff, peaceful relaxing atmosphere & enjoyed swimming pool

Standard room 2 was simple but fine except for bathroom. Just a bath with no shower, had a shower head fitting on taps but nowhere to hang it and no shower curtain either - so simple to put in place. TV was a little small. Staff all lovely and food very good in bar and reasonable bar prices on drinks. Swimming pool fine but hot tub a little cool and some maintenance needed. Saunas dark with lights switched off and no way of customers turning them on. Room 2 comfortable but woken 6.15 by lorry making a delivery and engine running for 10 minutes

The staff here are wonderful! They work hard, they are knowledgeable and brilliant to talk to and always make our stay the best we get anywhere. The rooms are comfortable with good ensuite facilities and who wouldn’t want to sit back and admire the grounds. And of course the wonderful pool and surrounding facilities. We arrived early and they were able to check us in and the room we were given is perfect.

The room especially plus corridors / spa - basically everything needs updating as looking tired

Jacuzzi was lukewarm

room was great , clean but a very obtrusive green night light

The staff were great, but the room whilst clean was very tired and basic. Not even a shower in the bathroom… a wall hook for the loose shower head would cost nothing to install (!). Bar and communal areas need some TLC.

Lovely hotel , friendly staff, good quality rooms and excellent food.

The room was clean ,the staff were very polite and helpful. The extra amenities such as swimming pool and sauna were especially nice.

The place is so tranquil and the staff are exceptional. The food is special and the ambience in the bar is sublime. Definitely going back.
