This is a great overnight stop off when travelling with dogs. It is a little traffic noisey but then you are not far off the main route for the next day! It is very clean and good walking space for dogs. Town has a few food options and great fish and chips. Meet and greet efficient and we had lovely fresh linen and strong shower!

I really appreciated the communication and ease of instructions for after hour access. Beautifully kept and very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful service and would definitely stay here again :)

I like to stay here when I’m doing business in Wellington. It has parties gardens and is so much more peaceful than the city

Walked into kitchen and thought ‘tired 1970”s’. Room better except for woodwork. Bathroom excellent and modern.

Older motel but new bathroom which was great. Room clean n tidy. Quiet aircon. Easy parking, easy to get to. Stayed 3 night n would definitely stay again.

Clean, quiet, affordable accommodation. At first glance when you arrive the motel complex looks old/tired. But the units are clean and some upgrades (modern bathroom) have been done. Would definitely stay again.

Met with a lovely friendly welcome and was especially grateful as was for 2 nights over the Xmas period. Spacious room with lovely bathroom. Loved the patio which was frequented by blackbirds and sparrow and we also saw a Pukeko each day.

A beautiful, bird-filled garden where you could sit and relax with no other buildings in sight. Very comfortable beds, a great night's sleep. A genuine, friendly, and professional prprietor. The best of three motels we stayed this trip, and the least expensive.

Liked that it was quiet and had spacious parking at the door of the unit. The property is dated, and the outside areas are not well kept.
