Corran House is a very basic establishment at the north end of the downtown.
The rooms are average, but comfortable. There is no lift, so you'll have to carry luggage up to your room. We did not take the breakfast as it was priced ala carte for pretty standard packaged muffins and items and honestly, guests are asked to wash their own crockery and utensils. We went to a coffee shop in town.
There are two adjoining buildings and we were not in the one over Markie Dans so no complaints about noise. The carpark is literally right next door to the buildings and only 1 pound per hour so very reasonable (and free after 6pm and before 9pm).
we were able to walk along the esplanade or main shopping street in 10-15 minutes through the town with no problems, and it's a very pleasant walk.
