Breakfast was fantastic! They have made to order options and to go. Very clean! The staff was so kind and accommodating. We stayed there for an on site wedding, and it was gorgeous! Very nice walkable area. Cute shops nearby and a short walk to the waterfront.

The staff was very friendly. The bedroom was very nice. The bathroom was clean and had nice shampoo, conditioner, etc. We had a very nice made to order breakfast on the front porch, with a number of choices. The property is an easy walk to downtown, stores and restaurants.

This was the perfect and beautiful place to spend our anniversary. We loved the property and the staff. In addition, the location was so convenient for walking and exploring Havre De Grace.

We love the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace! The room Meigz is perfect for us with its own private entrance. The Vandiver has many rooms with lovely bathtubs. Wine and cheese evenings are so welcoming and above all, the staff make this beautiful property shine with their friendliness. Thank you!!

Very nice property and excellent innkeeper. Lovely setting for a wedding. And appreciated having breakfast included with the stay and the complimentary wine for our anniversary. Unfortunately, had to wake up innkeeper in middle of night when our room became very stuffy and there was no way for us to turn on air. Although many might enjoy the foam mattress topper, it made the bed too soft for us.

Our trip would have been ruined if Brie had not been on duty on Sunday. She was kind and understanding. As far as pet friendly goes, I would say more pet tolerant. Dogs aren’t allowed in the main hose or on the porch. They are supposed to be put in a crate that you are required to provide while you shower or sleep. Finally, they are never to be left alone in the room, crated or not. That is NOT pet friendly.

This is a Historical gem that is maintained well as well as the grounds are very well kept, however if you are wanting polished high end, this is not for you. It is filled with beautiful antiques and charm. The location was perfect for walking to everything. The room was sizable with nice but simple bathroom attached (Layfette room). We enjoyed the hot, cook to order breakfast and the manager's reception. Good communication with calls and text reminders. We would definitely stay at the Vandiver Inn again.

I loved that we had a fireplace in our room, and it was very well appointed. The owners, who we happened upon, were so friendly and welcoming!!
