We paid a premium for a waterfall pool suite but were given a room with no view. The local staff admitted no rooms with a room exist and marketing pictures on the website and Expedia are misleading. Hotel management would not make themselves available to deal with the situation.The hotel is dated. Rooms had bugs. The pool was not clean. Restaurant mediocre and does not cater well to western taste. Appalling experience, I am surprised Expedia continue to partner with them given the open misrepresentation of the rooms and facilities.

Booked a trip for my parents to visit Assam and Meghalaya. As part of that trip, we booked this hotel in Cherrapunji for them for 3 nights. They couldn't have been happier. From the hospitality of the chef to the comfort and views of the dew drop room, they loved every aspect of their stay. Would highly recommend the hotel. You get what you pay for in this case...!
