Nice apartments perfect for the traveler or if anyone wants to stay and travel around North East Iceland

Easy check in, Clean, great location. Was perfect !

Extremely small rooms. Ours smelled and felt very humid.

TV was not working, Outside is not clean. Inside it was all clean.

The property did not meet our expectations for the following reasons: 1) There was no free parking available between 4pm and 10am, unlike what the property description said. They sent us an email saying they have free parking at a certain place opposite our apartment, but when we went there the parking was already full, so clearly they have less spaces available than they have apartments, and it's first come first served, so we had to park in the P2 area which is not free. 2) The walls are too thin and we could hear a lot of noise coming from the neighbour unit waking us up very early in the morning 3) The bathroom light is sensor-activated, but once it's on, it will stay on for a good 20 minutes with no way of switching it off. This can be very annoying when someone is trying to sleep. Even closing the bathroom door doesn't always help and a lot of light comes through in the bedroom anyway. 4) The two "bedrooms" (i.e. the proper bedroom and the living room with a sofa bed) are connected at the top (the wall between them is only 2/3 high compared to the ceiling) so there is also zero sound insulation between the two sleeping areas.

The location cannot be beat - the apartment was close to food, shopping and tours. The apartment was a good size, relatively modest and clean.

A reasonably priced small apartment in the center of the town. Easily walkable to all destinations in town. Ideal location for day trips to areas around Akureyri.

We had to stay an extra night as weather conditions made it impossible to continue on our road trip. We booked a second night and the owners very kindly allowed us to stay in the same room which was greatly appreciated. We would recommend staying here.

We had a good 2 night stay in February, and enjoyed the facilities provided. The insulation of the room wasn’t fantastic and we woke up with puddles of water on the window seal. This must be a recurring issue as there was some mould on the curtains.

Despite initial skepticism, renting at this location exceeded my expectations. The space was fantastic, and there were plenty of affordable dining options in the vicinity.

Exterior is ordinary, but interior was surprisingly modern, spacious and pleasant. Location is a few blocks from downtown and near walking trails to the water.

These apartments have potential to be perfect but lacking minor things that ruin your stay. Firstly, great it offers parking with it being central, good location with plenty of things surrounding to eat, explore and shop. Easy check in (emailed to you prior but no one about should you have any problems). First impression - apartment large, great facilities, comfortable and everything you needed should you decide not to go out. Large bathroom with walk on shower, sofa and tv, dining table, fridge, microwave etc. however quickly noticed how dirty it was. Crumbs all over the counter and in drawers, sink dirty, bathroom around toilet filthy, cupboard door missing, screw on floor and one in cupboard, towels solid, small and had a funny smell so we used our own.

Liked the price and location. Didn’t like the slanted roof, I’m 6’6”, but I knew it was slanted when I bought it.

Great location. No available parking when we arrived though.
