Really great staff and view of the ocean is breathtaking from the rooms ! Quiet tucked away luxury. Really helpful staff !!!

Lovely spot! Was perfect as the final destination on our trip through Portugal to get to relax by the beach and the resort is also very close to the town with wonderful restaurants and shopping and additional beaches! Even managed to squeeze in a round of golf which was wonderful too! Staff super friendly, definitely a lovely stay! Only thing I would point out is that it is a bit of a trip to get into the town. So if you want the peace and quiet it's the best, just be advised you may need to take an uber!

The staff and hotel are great but the location is quite out of the way if you actually want to explore Portugal at all.

Great views and easy access to beach. Breakfast was great. Easy to get to Lagos, but far enough away to feel like at the beach. Nice staff. Quiet.

Good location a bit far from the beach ( 20 minute walk) . Excellent service and pleasant staff.

Beautiful location, wonderful staff, lovely food and gorgeous rooms. The only thing I would counsel about is that the hotel is 5 star but is already starting to show signs of use - peeling of the walls in our room etc. This is a shame and could be easily rectified, as could the poor reception on the tv. But this are minor issues - a wonderful place.

The check in process was seamless even for our 2am arrival. The view in the morning was spectacular. The suite was clean, spacious with a welcome bottle of wine and charcuterie board. Small boutique contemporary hotel with only 20 rooms which was nice and quiet. The downside was airport to hotel 55mins away. My fault for not mapping however uber is going to be $85 euros one way unless you rent a car. I missed not having a TV in the bedroom, mattress not so comfortable, a higher sheet thread count could have made the bed better. Lastly, as adult only resort there we’re more children than expected during the on property breakfast and dinner. Didn’t take away from the incredible view, the amazing adjacent clubhouse, the golf course and the sea shells/beach was absolutely spectacular and a must see. Hands down the hotel location was beautiful and staff very nice.

5-star small resort hotel overlooking golf course and ocean. Staff were excellent. Easy parking. Food was also great-breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended!

Wie zumeist auf unserer Reise durch Portugal war der Anfahrtsweg etwas abenteuerlich. Sobald man in das Resort einfährt aber, ist es super und wunderschön. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr gross, die Aussicht fantastisch und das Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und sehr lecker! Auch der Hol-und Bringservice ans Meer war toll.

Excellent séjour dans cet établissement de 20 chambres très spacieuses. Superbe service. Quelques détails à rafraîchir dans la chambre (porte serviette décroché ou mur noir). Manque juste une salle de sport ! Nécessité d’avoir une voiture.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of our travels along the coast of Portugal. This hotel was supposed to be the highlight of our trip and here are some remarks I have: - the rooms are great the bed is super big and comfortable - the view is stunning - we loved the fact that the hotel only has 20 rooms and therefore is very quite - the Michelin Restaurant Al Sud was our personal highlight BUT - for a 5 star hotel I expect that the rooms are turned over close to perfection which never was the case the towels looked like they were thrown under the sink, the vanity kit wasn‘t replaced (I had to specifically ask for it after they forgot it 2 times in a row) & they only cleaned around our personal items - the breakfast options are what you can expect from a 3 stars hotel so rather underwhelming and for us as brunch lovers very disappointing (they had three warm chafings with bacon, eggs, vegetables, some cold cut meat and cheese a bit of pastery and 3 fruits and a muesli station) - there is no gym or other spa facility - the pool area is exposed to the wind and therefore not very relaxing
