Excellent property with incredible staff..

One of the finest hospitality experiences I have ever had. The property is unbelievably beautiful. We were in a two bedroom suite, each bedroom with its own bath. The space was incredible. During our four night stay we elected to have dinner at the property three times; it was that good. Most significant to our experience were the outstanding staff and the serene environment. The staff could not have been more attentive. They assisted us with restaurant and activity reservations. On property they were there whenever we needed them. With only 15 rooms, you could feel like you were staying in your own private mansion. Views of the Tuscan countryside are everywhere and stunning. Ta truly unforgettable experience.

The property and staff were amazing. Everyone treated us very special. Emilio and Anna provided amazing service for lunch and dinner and Gema was very professional and courteous at check in. I would definitely say here again. The views are breathtaking.

The staff, especially Leo were extremely accommodating and friendly. The junior seeet was comfortable in every way. You could dine on the patio or inside. An amazing breakfast is included. Just came to relax and chill- perfect views.

This was a beautiful tranquil oasis of peace. The buffet breakfast was beyond my expectations and a lovely surprise. The personalized service from the staff was exceptional and the pool area was a fantastic experience.

Spent three nights at this breathtaking hotel to end our two week Italy trip and it was immaculate in every way. Our room was absolutely stunning. Probably the best hotel restaurant food and service I've had anywhere with stunning sunset views in the evening and the staff was incredible. The welcome we received when we arrived at the hotel on our first night was also very special. Thank you!

What a beautiful oasis in the Italian countryside! We spend 3 beautiful days here and everything was wonderful. The staff was so attentive and welcoming and the rooms are simply magnificent. Some days the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! We especially loved all the quiet sitting areas around the property, perfect for morning coffee and evening sundowners. The deck was so nice for our meals as well. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area.

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Italy highlighted by our time at Villa le Calvane. Eva and Gemma were wonderful communicating with us prior to our trip so all our activities could be coordinated. They informed us that many of the activities we were interested in (horseback riding, truffle hunting, winery tour) were offsite and so would require us to drive, but they were very helpful in arranging a private ride back and forth to Florence and a 2-day car rental while we were at the property so we could go to these activities and take a day trip to Pisa. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, the grounds were clean and well-maintained, and the views were phenomenal. We very much appreciated everyone's efforts in making our stay so fabulous!

So good I almost don’t want to share so my secret place is not discovered. lol We are definitely going back.

Beautiful property and incredible staff

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the resort. Nestled within the picturesque countryside, we enjoyed both the cuisine and the highly skilled staff.

Villa le Calvane is an excellent place to spend a vacation. It has a wonderful location with beautiful views. Service was excellent. We loved this boutique hotel! I still dream about their breakfasts. However, I wasn’t crazy about their dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back there. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning to go to Tuscany.

'Exceptional' really is the right word for this hotel. The team feel more like a family than just colleagues and everyone is so welcoming and friendly! There's passion, enthusiasm and love put into everything they do, as best demonstrated in the superb food and drinks. The setting is nothing short of paradise and the wine tasting we booked with Mirko the sommelier and restaurant manager was the best we've done anywhere in the world! One night just wasn't enough...!

Our experience here was truly exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have imagined our stay would be as perfect as it was. We were looking for a peaceful place to unwind and that is exactly what we got. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, quiet, has incredible views, and the food is amazing, but the staff is what really put this over the top. Their incredible kindness and hospitality throughout our stay will make this an experience we will never forget.

I was skeptical of the 10/10 reviews. But my stay really was perfect. I felt like a VIP the entire stay. The staff was attentive. The head butler and sommelier was excellent and knowledgeable, I learned so much during our wine tasting. The neighbourhood is straight out of a movie. Perfect street lined vineyards and villas. I wish I could recall names of the staff but I went 3 weeks ago and now names have slipped me. How could I forget the food ! The absolute best meals I had in Italy, and we were also in Milan and Rome on our trip. In summary, great wine, spacious room, great food, superior service, stately accommodations. A perfect Tuscan Villa!

a total disaster. Junior suite is not what it is advertised on expedia, its claustrophobic, no windows, No ventilation, no Ac, more of a hidden bunker in the basement. They will try to extract every penny out of you by falsifying bills. Make sure you double check your bill before you check out. It looks like this hotel in on a cash crunch at least that's the vide you get when you check in. Very mediocre overall. For 800US$ a night its totally worthless.
