Happy to have an upgrade. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable.

Shout out to Freddie and Alex and also staff at the breakfast. Comfy and cosy hotel with spacious rooms.

I booked a Club Deluxe room which was nice and spacious. I know that the bath and shower are inside the bedroom with no walls before I booked and thought thats fine as I was staying by myself anyways.

Obviously it’s a great hotel but the staff went above and beyond. From the night receptionist when we pulled in on Friday night after a nightmare 7 hour drive, to the manager (I believe…) who rewarded our toddler’s politeness with a bubble blower toy, we couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back, and soon!

Lovely hotel, beautifully furnished and styled, comfy bedding and crisp sheets, great breakfast choices and pleasant staff, especially great location within walking distance to all the shops and bars but quiet at night . Loved our stay and enjoyed Hank you for the upgrade!

The staff, hotel, food and proximity to Cheltenham were excellent Only drawback was that hot water kept coming through the cold tap.

Great location, and staff were very helpful. Excellent secure parking. We enjoyed breakfast - the porridge and cinnamon toast were excellent. The menu offered a wide choice. Bed was comfy, but we were there in a hot spell of weather, and there was no air con in the room. The fan in the room did help a little, but it was still very warm for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner however. We had a room which had a bath, shower and vanity unit in the bedroom with a separate toilet. The edges of the floor of the toilet were not clean, and the top of the skirting was laden with dust.

Booked a room on the ground floor for my elderly parents - was given an open plan room with bathroom in the room - high bath and glass door shower - no privacy - supposed to be for elderely or diabled - bath was so high they could not get in - individually! We had a first floor room and the bathroom design was terrible - no space to put toilet bags or things - batch very high and slipped several times getting in and out as plug in centre so using the shower blocked the plug! not great - wont stay again.

The staff are friendly and willing to help. However, the room has no air conditioning, which is different from what was listed on the booking site. The window can only be opened up a tiny bit, which is unhelpful and made for a very unpleasant summer night.

Lovely stay, great rooms and facilities, excellent breakfast and location super close to town centre. Only thing I found strange was no way to charge your phone with a cable, unless you brought your own plug to fit the cable in (so I had to plug it into the back of the television). And the wall radiator in the bathroom was roasting hot so when I got out the shower I got burnt by it. No way to turn it off and we've had a heat wave in the UK

Air conditioning that does not work in the heat is pointless. Lovely room and hotel spoilt by weak and pointless air conditioning and windows that did not open properly. Response from reception staff was that the air conditioning units couldn’t cope with the heat. Hard to believe. Was singularly unimpressed with the lack of customer service.

The room we were allocated had a fan in and it felt uncomfortable.

Great room - excellent facilities

Great staff and customer service, rooms nice and clean but air con was not brilliant and the sinks in the room would not put out cold water for more than 5 seconds and kept flowing extremely hot. Apart from that it was a nice stay

There was a loud wedding and my room was over the outside area and by the stairs so the noise of the DJ was over bearing and interrupted sleep. We booked this hotel as a hotel - ie to have a nice room to sleep, which was not possible. The air con was also barely functioning so it was very warm on the room. I would not stay here again for fear of more parties. I am unsure why we were not allocated rooms away from the noise

An excellently located hotel with great staff and a lovely ambiance

Parking was small but available. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was well presented and clean.

The room itself was uncomfortably small and made worse by poor design. The room had a wall through it with a long narrow area at one side which was of no practical use except to house all the powerpoints, thus making it impossible to use electrical devices in the main part of the room. Despite the excessive heat the room had not been cooled and we were given a fan which when plugged in would not stretch into the bed area. All in all an uncomfortable stay.

Wonderful hotel within easy walking distance to the heart of Cheltenham. Every single staff member is a credit to the hotel, so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend and will definitely return
