Very efficient and helpful staff. Beautiful location.

We stayed in a room overlooking the river. It was lovely with the dual aspect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful setting right next to the river. The breakfast was lovely, the bar staff were helpful. We had planned to eat our evening meal there however changed our mind as we found the menu a little lacking. Perhaps a more seasonal, local produce menu would be better.

The property was on the banks of a river with lots of green space and walks for the dog. There was plenty of parking and nothing seemed to be cramped.

Welcoming staff and a lovely clean hotel. The room had everything we required. The bathroom was small, which was okay, but there were a few things which needed addressing. The mirror was chipped and the paintwork near the bath needed attention. The restaurant is lovely, although the pudding had a hair cooked into the biscuit. The grounds of the hotel are lovely. Very pretty and the car park was good as we arrived with a trailer (confirmed this was allowed prior to booking) there was plenty of room to park. A lovely hotel, after 12 hours of travelling it was a relief to check into such a lovely place. A place we will defiantly be retuning to!

A delightful stay with great facilities and fantastic service from the staff. A joy to sit by the river.

We loved the room ( no 20) - but cold. The staff fixed that. The restaurant was a disappointment- lovely interior but the food was nothing special.

Breakfast was wonderful with both the opportunity to serve ourselves from the buffet and order eggs and breakfast items from the menu. The setting on the Dee River is stunning. The employees were attentive and professional.

A great location for visiting the area , this hotel has been furnished in a modern style whilst acknowledging its history. A great breakfast and comfortable beds . What more can you ask for

Such a treat to stay at this location! The staff and food were amazing and the lodge was like a step back in time, but with all the modern amenities. I stayed in the sweetest room that was just perfect for my needs. The sound of the rushing water from the river was constant and soothing and could be heard from all corners and areas of the facility. Very well worth every effort made to be there.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and most of the staff were helpful and fairly friendly. The toilets are not easily accessible for guests with mobility problems and the vegan meal was dreadful.

Beautiful rooms and lovely setting on river. Very elegant decor and great food. A choice of fine dining or relaxed dining in the charming bar. A lovely relaxing stay and very dog friendly.

Hotel was fantastic, everything was luxurious and beautiful in a comfortable way. Also staff were very good as well.
