Super acceuillant.la chambre propre et j ai fait un super dejeuner.merci

Kandy can be quite expensive, so we booked this place in nearby (and non-touristy) Matale for a fraction of the prices further South. It's a short walk or tuk tuk from the main bus stop. It's a wedding/reception venue with a few modest rooms and a lovely deck for meals. Our room was excellent for the price, though we chose to 'upgrade' to get the aircon remote for another USD $5. Although we hadn't organised in advance, they were able to serve us dinner for a small fee too. There's no toilet paper holder and the bathroom gets wet with a shower (dries soon enough), so we just popped the toilet roll in a clean plastic bag so we could keep it in the bathroom on the floor. A great place to sleep for the night while traveling through the area. The owner was very thoughtful, we had left some yoghurt in his fridge and forgot to get it on checkout, and he called us later to apologize! Would stay here again.
