This hotel is a very cosy and very well run boutique hotel. The staff are extremely professional and provide a good quality service. I look forward to our return visit next year.

Nigel and his staff was extremely warm, friendly and has a real cosy atmosphere to the hotel. Perfect location in the city and plenty of parking. Me and my wife had a lovely time and the breakfast was amazing!! Will be returning and recommending to all!

I arrived at the Chantry Hotel just after midday. The proprietor was happy for me to check-in straight away. He was also happy for me to leave my car there for a couple of hours after I’d checked out the following morning. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was first class. My room was on the second floor - the second set of stairs was a little narrow but fortunately I didn’t have much luggage for my overnight stay so it wasn’t a problem for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant location for visiting all the main attractions in Bury St Edmunds. Was warmly welcomed by our host and they were flexible about check in times and us leaving the car in their car park before check in. Had a lovely quiet room which was warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was great, with a good selection. Would definitely stay here on future visits to the area.

What an amazing little find this hotel is. Right in the centre of Bury, 10 minute walk if that to the shops, market, pubs and restaurants. Earlier check in than most hotels of 1pm, but they were happy if we got there earlier for us to leave our car in their car park so we could go about our day. Our room was clean, tidy and functional, nice shower, comfy bed and nice selection of drinks available in the room. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast the next morning was lovely. Lots of choice included and the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection using quality ingredients. It was perfect for everything we needed and at the same price as the premier inn near by it is an absolute no brainer. Much more personal, relaxing, comfortable quality stay. Thank you! We will be back next time we visit Bury 😊

Great location near Cathedral and Town Centre. Lovely old buildings and excellent breakfasts. Friendly and efficient staff. We were in the Tudor Annex (Room 17). Bathroom is very small!

The hotel were kind enough to let me check in super early as i had to meet clients at 12.30 and wanted to park up and drop my bag off beforehand. A lovely hotel on a very quiet street - would thoroughly recommend.
