Helpful and friendly staff.. top quality food.. good location

Kleines aber feines Hotel mit verschiedenen Cottages. Diese sind praktisch eingerichtet. Sie sind sauber und gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist Standard. Sehr familienfreundlich. Schön in der Natur gegelegen und von hier aus kann man auf schöne Wanderungen gehen.

Super easy check in. Ate at Hygge which was recommended by the hotel in an email and it was sooooo good! Beds were very comfortable. A little outdated in terms of room furniture, etc but it added to the charm. :)

Waking up on this farm with delicious breakfast was a highlight of our trip. Well run guesthouse and beautiful lobby.

They were very kind and accommodating since I had messed up my booking for the hotel. I needed to stay there on July 6th, but didn’t actually book it until July 7th. When we got there I realized my error. I was so worried about having to find another hotel, but they found a room for me and my family and we made do. They directed us to a nice place to eat and it all worked out well. We thank them for their help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities.

The staff were great. The room was large, everything worked, the furniture showed signs of age, but had characture. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, especially the home cured lamb. Unfortunately the resturant was closed, but we were directed to one nearby and given a 10% discount code. The room had tea and coffee making facilitates, with tea bags, coffee and sugar, but no milk. It was disappointing that the reception area was closed every evening as there was seated areas, a pool table, chess set etc.

We had a quiet very nice stay on this farm/hotel. They are self equipped with water and food, they handle excellent.

This is a friendly hotel, run by very nice people and is well located to visit the south coast of Iceland around Vik. Some of the decor is a little tired but the hotel has a homely 'old fashioned' feel to it, giving it a cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was very good. One comment I would make is that the mattresses on the beds need replacing, they were quite lumpy. If that could be done, then I'd definitely recommend a stay at the Fljotshlid

TPP AFR AWAY FROM MAIL ROAD

Old, but quaint. Beautiful farm setting. Pretty far in the middle of nowhere. There is a small town nearby- Breakfast was wonderful!! Workers wonderful! Good location - midway.

Old place that feels like you are dropped into a different era. Room was really hot. Kept the window open all night and it slightly cooled down. No fridge to use which I think they should have. But staff provided me ice which was nice of them. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The front desk people were friendly and easy to check in. The rooms are pretty dated even for a eco friendly hotel. One of our beds was curving in the middle. The views were nice, breakfast was great. Overall 4.5/5 .5 is for the dated beds and rooms

Very quaint and clean hotel in a farm setting. A bit out of the way but a wonderful experience. Plus you can meet their farm dog!
