Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well. However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception! The rest of the place was like an oven. It was awful and uncomfortable, just for this aspect alone. The standard rooms, in comparison to Holiday Inns and Premiere Inns, and even some B&B's, was tiny. To the point that both of us kept hitting the wall either side of the bed when getting out, and it was only a standard double sized bed at that (4' 6"!) Again smaller than competitors we've stayed at. Add this to the lack of aircon, and it was really not comfortable at all. All rooms were ground floor as well so leaving a window open to try and get some air was not an option when not inside the room, and we were only supplied with one 6-9 inch plug in fan. If you could replace this hotel with the Holiday Inn at Bedford Services in this gorgeous location, it would be perfect!!

To be honest I wasn't expecting to be that good, the place was serene, from the time you drive in and inside. Room was very clean. I'd love to go back in the future for a few days.

Rooms are good, bathrooms are a little tired, Breakfast excellent and ample good parking

Just one complaint, the bed was on caster wheels which made the bed unsuitable to sit on to watch the television, everything else was really good.

Room was clean, it was one of the smaller ones, they have very small doubles, so be warned if you like spreading out as a couple. Staff always freindly. Love the free coffee and sparkiling water in the reception area and the coffee bags in the room. Makes a big difference. Food not so good this time around.

having a phone number direct to the hotel or at least my 3 words for the venue would help to find the accommodation on site.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely venue, good facilties. Clean, well maintained. Great free coffee, filtered water Amazing eco-friendly schemes. Would definitely go back if I was in the area

Clean room

Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. Good place to stay. The room was freshly renovated and clean. Only he room was cold when we arrived, and it took a while to heat it up. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day.

War gut

Staff were polite & helpful. Room was very clean. I was fortunate to get a room upgrade to the Drift in, so was much spacious than expected.

Sparse furniture in room. No country chair to relax or stool to put on makeup just one computer style chair.

Lovely room and modern. Easy check in and quiet area with a good bar. Bar was expensive for drinks though.

Information was non existent trying to find someone to ask was also non existent it’s ok having self service check in but more signs are needed to indicate where rooms are not have sign hidden behind reception desk. Food was excellent

I can’t fault the hotel, it was a lovely and relaxing stay. I will be back.

friendly staff especially Hannah in reservations who dealt with our amended booking. The bed was very comfy and cosy. Breakfast was a bit disappointing- only one style of eggs - scrambled. Dinner was also very rushed with the preordered food being rushed out. Games facilities were good fun. An enjoyable stay

Nice place to stay. Small bedroom, although as a solo travelling female i didn't feel comfortable having my window open so wide anyone could have climbed in, this did make me wake a few times in the night as it was too warm to leave open. Staff could have been better to explain the facilities, and the food situation was rather confusing with no explanation, i was pretty much able to go and help myself to a 3 course buffet without payment or question from the team. I may have chosen this if i knew about it, but no information about. Table scan option didn't work for ordering food, little disappointing had to join the busy bar que. but the bar dishes where nice - not too much choice on the menu either
