Room was amazing however breakfast was very disappointing the fried slice was extremely greasy the bacon was burnt the sausage was too spicy. I left most of it and so did the gentleman across from me and at £12 it’s an expensive throw away.

Lovely hotel , staff are very friendly,and the room was very nice,clean and roomy.

Unfortunately I was unwell during my stay so I missed breakfast.

The room was very nice and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Very pleasant stay which made us think we will definitely stay there again.

A charming character building, but the windows, shower fittings, paintwork all seemed a bit tired and jaded. Curtain tieback missing from one of the bedroom windows. Coffee machine at breakfast was not so good. A notice offering fresh milk instead of UHT milk in the bedroom was greatly appreciated.

Good rooms and easy parking

It is a lovely spot. Good parking on site and further down the street.

After we had changed rooms, we were pleased with the new one but it was it irritating not to be warned that the overhead shower was not working in our original room. Dinners were excellent and service very good indeed. The breakfasts need attention: the bread machine only toasted on one side or, if sent through again to do the other side, came out as a burnt offering. The procedure for breakfasts seems to favour staff rather than guests. It would be pleasant to have milk, jams etc on the tables and for coffee or tea delivered to the table. I must add that we did not have cooked breakfasts but they looked very good. I make these remarks in, hopefully, a useful manner rather than outright criticism.

Great as always

Great check in- staff at hotel and pub area super! Room is fine - clean and lots of hot water and water pressure. On a road and so a bit of noise so ask for a back room. Ask to not be in room 1 , friends I. Other rooms found it all delightful.

One of the lifts closest to my room was out of order. The bath in my room had a large distant between bath and floor, making it very unsafe. No room safe. No room key acess to front door of hotel. I have stayed in many hotel and this is average. Very basic hotel for a high price. Small breakfast very expensive .

I was happy with the Hotel. It was in an excellent location in relation to the event i was attending.

Disappointed with the quality of the room. Worn out and tired fixtures. Poor sleep due to other guests getting up at 0600am and being very noisy.

Stayed before, completely different. Room not very clean, staff absent from reception desk and bar regularly. Mattress uncomfortably. Will stay again as this was the first time we had these issues.

Property location was excellent. Old British charm hotel, but the air-conditioning was not best, so it was hot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
