Breakfast very poor.on arriving to check in,asked what u like for breakfast,full English please .what arrived was a hamburger bun with bacon and sausage.not happy.had breakfast in local cafe.

A lovely place to stay, both close to the beach and the town. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing , whatever you chose to have. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel. Had a lovely large room with sea view. Very good location. Excellent full English breakfast. Would visit this hotel again.

I’m booking the staff were very helpful helped me with parking. I’m very pleasant. The only issue I have is that the Room did not have a fridge that would be nice to have to keep your drinks cold apart from that everything else was perfect.

An excellent freshly made hot and filling breakfast. The cafe area was a welcome rest stop with a wide choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach, railway station and town gave plenty to do.

Superbly situated hotel, overlooking Minehead bay.

Room was clean and tidy, staff are very friendly and welcoming, good selection of food and drinks and very dog friendly

Our room had a great view overlooking the harbour and the Promenade.

No sea view but room was clean and cosy.

1st class bar as passed on to the kind staff only thing in my room was needed really was needed blackout curtains.

Once again, a lovely stay at The Beach. Staff attentive and very welcoming. Breakfast cooked by the students was excellent, delicious, superb quality and presented beautifully!

Clean and tidy, friendly staff

The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. The location opposite the beach is delightful and quite quiet - and very convenient for the West Somerset Railway which is warmly recommended as an arrival route.

Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Our room overlooked the prom and the west Somerset rail steam line station, which was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hard to fault really

The hotel listing did not match the offering provided by the hotel. After a day of driving 300 miles, all I need from a hotel is a restaurant and decent room. The listing did not state the food service stopped at 3pm, which is not ideal for when working away. The downstairs is not setup for guests to lounge and the bar shuts at 9pm. The room was basic and spacious. Bed comfortable but the shower was a bath mixer which was hard to regulate the temperature.

Great location, and I love the aim of the project! The room was a good size, very comfortable but because of the age of the building it lacks A/C. Opening the window made the room fresh and breezy, but a bit noisy as it looks out onto the main street

Très bien situé proche de la plage à deux pas de la rue où se situent les restaurants. Parking disponible au pied de l’hôtel gratuit. Sinon parking de la gare gratuit toute la nuit

The staff were very good. The room was good but very white could do with a bit of colour ( even just one wall ) Overall great view from our room and a great break. Cooked breakfast excellent. Pity they didn’t do evening meals
