Quiet, walkable, close to everything

Great looking place! Comfortable. Could’ve used a little more parking and food options.

Beautiful, clean, cozy room.

Upon arrival the shared kitchen space was very dirty. Crumbs all over countertops, dishes in sink, dirty dishes in dishwasher which was full. Thought was maybe it would get cleaned the next day and restocked with coffee. Entered room which was clean with the exception of crumbs on the small table and chairs in the room. The next day we awoke to the room becoming a little warmer. Went out to make coffee and get the advertised English breakfast that was supposed to be included. Nothing there. Text the contact number and they said they don't provide that and asked who i booked through. Told them and they said they would reach out to hotels.com because info was incorrect. Looking back at reviews it looked like it used to be offered. Someone else also recently stayed and said breakfast was missing as well. Went back in the room to find out was getting warmer. Temp set at 68 but temp was 72 and getting warmer. Text again. Said the app told them it was working. Waited and temp went to 75. Had to get ready for the day in a warm and stuffy room. They sent someone out after we left. Addressed the issue, which we were greatful for but no aplogy or anything for all of the issues. We stayed two nights and the kitchen was finally being addressed and coffee pods added morning we were leaving. No spoons in drawers. There are no instructions for anyone staying there and using a shared space.

The perfect place to stay! Beautiful rooms and lovely communal kitchen! I will be back for sure!!

The hotel is very unique but definitely not worth $250/night: the bed was incredibly hard (my fiancé and I didn’t sleep well and woke up each morning with stiff backs) and the pillows were so soft they didn’t offer any support (we woke up with stiff necks). While the place was clean, the communal kitchen needed needed quite a bit of restocking—from coffee pods, tea bags and oatmeal to cereal spoons, tea cups and coffee cups (we had to wait until other guests finished their coffees so we could wash out their cups and make coffee for ourselves).

This is a cool place for stay, close to lots of great places to eat and shop (if you like comic books, vintage, small businesses). It was a bit much to be in one room with our 2 teenagers, with only one bathroom with a hanging door that didn’t provide privacy (doesn’t close entirely) and no bathroom fan. The room got super warm during our second night and we couldn’t get it to cool down, so sleeping was kind of miserable for us—and because there are no staff on duty, we couldn’t do anything about it. I would say this is the perfect place for a single adult or a couple, but not amazing for a family sharing one room.

I am not crazy about not having any staff, at all. Seems big brother-ish, as does the sign on the board that “we are watching you.” I gave high marks on the cool building, although it was hard to regulate the water temp in 6. Your guests were all very nice, but I have to say there must be a middle ground here that you could find if you tried. Other hotels, hostels manage to do that. Why not Kinn?

Loved this place! Only stayed one night but it was fantastic! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and I am picky when it comes to this due to having a bad back. Loved the contactless check-in and check-out also. The only thing that was not liked was the bathroom door. It is a sliding barn door and when the door was closed there was about a half inch to and inch gap. The entire bathroom was visible through the gap which could be seen through the reflection of the wall mirror located in the room. The hotel was extremely clean and in a safe area that was in walking distance to shopping, food and nightlife. Would definitely stay there again!!!

We celebrated our anniversary by staying here and it was perfect in every way.

Perfect for what I needed Room and bed were great. The vanity light in the bathroom was pretty sad and dim. I couldn’t do my makeup in there. That’s my only improvement suggestion

Fantastic! Especially loved the community kitchen and lounge area.

Great place to stay and very easy self check-in. My only complaint is the bathroom door has a large gap in it so there isn’t enough privacy while going to the bathroom.

This was a great little hotel. Our room was adorable and big. There is a great restaurant/bar on the first floor of the building that is open for dinner.

I had no idea that I’d find such a wonderful option for my needs. It felt like home away from home, which is very important to me. I’ll be back soon!

It’s a nice, comfortable place in a nice neighbourhood. I would stay there again.
