Lovely place very helpful

Staff lovely and great location but we stayed In an executive room (No.6) and it had the strongest smell of damp and mould I’ve ever smelt. I asked for air freshener to which this didn’t work, I then asked for a dehumidifier but they didn’t have one so we had all the undoes open 24/7. Our friends were staying in Keswick so we stayed at theirs most of the time for our short stay. Unfortunately this ruined our stay and can’t be good for one’s health staying in this for long. I contacted the hotel to advise of such before leaving this feedback but heard nothing back.

Dated, but clean and spacious room, with lovely street views (Rm 4)

Really enjoyed our brief stay. Many positives. The lovely lady on the front desk made us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the morning at no extra cost surpassed our expectations. The location and the cleanliness of the room. We would definitely stay again.

Great breakfast, good value accommodation, and the service from Jean was amazing; friendly, efficient and smiles. What more could we ask!

Dirty room. Covered in cobwebs. Windows dirty. Window frames dirty, carpet edges dirty, bath chipped, stair carpet thredbare in places bed frame chipped, advertised as executive room but very basic and dated. Pictures on expedia are nothing like the actual room. Top stair starting to collapse under carpet trip hazard. Carpark bays too narrow. not worth the money. Total rip off, avoid this hotel

Would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a good hotel in a lovely town. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of everything you need in town.
