Walking distance to turtle beach and coconut hill. Host is nice and welcoming

The room had efficient air conditioning and was clean and well presented. The couple who run it are absolutely lovely. Breakfast was served every morning, I asked only for fruit and tea, so I am not sure what is available above and beyond this. My fruit was delicious and freshly prepared. The location is quiet, being down a short path, and the location is excellent for convenience and beach access, plus bars and restaurants. It’s extremely close to turtle 🐢 beach, where you may be lucky enough to spot a turtle swimming, as we did. A good location and place to stay.

We loved our stay at Village Star Rest! The owners are such a wonderful family and are so kind and helpful. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is delicious and the location is perfect! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber funktionell eingerichtet, es gab aber auch größere Zimmer, da wir sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren reichte uns das kleinere !

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, Vielfältiges und sehr leckeresFrühstück ! Klimaanlage , Matratzen u Kühlschrank im Zimmer super !! Der Hoteleigentümer u seine Frau sind sehr freundlich u hilfsbereit ( beste u günstigste walewatchingtour …) im Haus ist eine Laundry die sehr schnell u sauber arbeitet! Gerne wieder!!!

Friendly hosts were able to give lots of information and recommendations and assist with bookings if needed. They booked my whale watching for a discounted price. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Good location. Near to main sights, beaches and restaurants. I would definetly stay again!

Das Zimmer war funktional - großes Bett mit guter Matratzze und richtiger Bettwäsche und Moskitonetz. Kühlschrank, 2 Deckenventilaoren und Klimaanlage. großes Badezimmer mit guten Sanitäranlagen, Dusche mit Warmwasser. Alles wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und gewechselt. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen und Wünschen. Täglich gab es frisch zubereitetes lokales Frühstück. Ruhige Lage, 5 minuten Gehweg zum Hauptstrand von Mirissa. Immer wieder gerne

Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby.

Narrow street, our van just fills the width of the street, to carry luggage long way to the stay. no staff to help. no driver stay provision, no van parking provision.

Excellent stay. Friendly, helpful staff. WiFi and air con worked well. Quiet location off the main road. Beautiful beaches and lots of good restaurant/bar options. I’ll be back soon!

This property is only a minute walk inside the green jungle off the main road. The host is very helpful and nice. Rooms are freshly painted and clean, Our room had balcony, and shower was spacious. Mosquito nets were there for your comfort during the night.

Comfortable and clean

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The lady who runs it is lovely and very helpful and friendly. I took the option for breakfast and there is a selection to choose from, i was always full after. The room was a good size and very clean with little touches that make the stay nicer, toiletries, nice towels, air fresher, a little flower and mosquito repellant. Would recommend and would stay again. The hotel was a perfect location for me, set back off the main road and walking distance to the main attractions.

Séjour très agréable, situé à 200 m de turtle bay et coconut hill ,400m de Mirissa beach et parrot rock… cet hôtel est très bien placé , au calmes absolu dans une petite ruelle qui donne sur la route principale. Le personnel est très accueillant, toujours le sourire! Divers services sont proposés, dont le lavage du linge , et même les repas. Une cuisine et un frigidaire sont mis à disposition. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, de l’eau chaude ce qui est très agréable. Je recommande vivement ce petit hôtel .

Great place close to beach clean no problems

A truly wonderful place. Dillon, the owner, was on permanent call, not that we needed him much as everything was in perfect working order. He advised and arranged our whale watching tour, which is a must. A great boat and very friendly and safe service.

The property was very quiet, clean and pleasant. The stay was made even more pleasant because of the two hosts, Hiroo and Dilan; the lovely husband/wife duo who run the place. They answered all my queries and made sumptuous food cooked by Dilans mother. The place was about 10 to 12 minutes walk away from Mitissa beach and was perfect Location as I had no wish to stay in the middle of the market. The nights were quiet and absolutely no mosquitoes. All in all for the price the rooms were bright, super clean, cosy and well done and I had a splendid time. Would go back at the drop of a hat. 👍👍

The Persons there were very welcoming they gave us tea and bananas and the place was very nice and comfortable with an amazing view at the rooftop
