Nice place, good food, unique pool

What a magical place! I've stayed at Kunang-Kunang Heritage Villas for one night,but could easily have stayed for 3 months. Just loved it! All the bungalows are so beautiful and I immediately fell in love with the KUTAI Bungalow which I stayed. It's so all out traditionally decorated, but you still get a bungalow feel from it. It is spacious enough to move around in freely, the bed is comfortable and it is equipped with a mosquito net, and also have our own living room and dining table. I loved the outdoor feel bathroom with the wooden bathtub! The bungalows are set in a garden next to a lotus pond. There is also a small swimming pool surrounded by the lake and the lotus pond. All the staff members were friendly, polite and helpful. Kunang-kunang Heritage Villa is next to a lake, so there are lots of mosquitoes at night time. There are small gaps between the wooden boards of the bungalow's floor, so the mosquitoes get in. There are mosquito spray and plug-ins in the bungalows, and beds have mosquito nets. All of those things did a good job at keeping the mosquitoes at our bungalow.Kunang kunang heritage villa is situated 10 min away from the airport. Would I stay there again? For sure!
