Youths in corridor shouting and swearing - not the best experience ☹️

Could do with an upgrade. Guy couldn’t find our booking on the system despite having 5 rooms booked

The hotel was clean but needs a revamping like new carpet and paint also sone upto date furniture. Didn't see much ofvthe staff as theyvwas mostly behind the bar Good location plenty of bars and restaurants nearby

A super location for our trip. Rooms are typically small for a pub hotel. Dedicated car park was great

Central to town. Clean room , comfy beds. Unfortunately there was a DJ from 22.00-00.00 which we did know about .

Great Hotel was at a 50th birthday party so stayed at the hotel friendly staff everything was perfect Perfect

The room was in very poor decorative order: paint scuffed and badly chipped, windows didn’t open and room needed airing, wires hanging from tv with tape around them. The corridors were the same

Room was lovely and clean. Could do with a lick of paint. Lovely comfy bed.

Staying away a lot as an engineer. The food was great, prices reasonable. Room was clean and tidy. I would stay there again.

Everything was excellent

It was sooo noisy all night until 2am the telly didn't work so we left a day earlier. Staff and food was good. Shame as it was for our 48th wedding anniversary.

Helpful and Efficient staff

Very friendly welcome on reception. Rooms are noisy (to be expected) whilst pub is open. Decor is very dated but the room was clean. Breakfast excellent value and good portions

Free parking included with the stay, the room was clean with tea/coffee and a kettle. Would stay here again, very convenient for the horse racing. The bar area does get very busy with a good atmosphere, my only small negative is that the you can hear and feel the music in your room until approx 12:30 am.
