The host welcomed us even if my family and I came late at night (around 10pm) because our arrival flight was 8pm. She showed us around the hostel. It was nice, clean and cozy. Everything was functional. I really liked our room. How I wish my apartment was a nice as this back home. Loved the smell of the free shampoo and conditioner plus there’s free facial and cleansing wash. We also made used of the free laundry by the end of our stay. The hostel is very near the train station, park and convenience stores. Only problem we encountered was the toilet; It took some time to understand its operation. Also, the water from the drinking dispenser would usually be empty any time during the day or night. We don’t know who to call to have it refilled. We were not sure if the water from the kitchen faucet is potable or safe to drink. Some guests were inconsiderate and loud. At night, you may use the free earplugs in order to get some sleep. I didn’t have problems sharing toilets and bathroom but one time, I was using the sink and this girl was pushing me aside because the other sinks were occupied. I think I was bullied in a way. Just didn’t make a big deal out of it. But I really got annoyed. She couldn’t wait for her turn. Apart from those mentioned, we enjoyed our stay. Will consider this if ever we come back to Fukuoka in the future.
