Nice hotel over the bar. There was live music the night we stayed but it wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Lots of locals in the bar watching the band. Very enjoyable stay!

Very clean room. Good breakfast. Convenient location.

Please be weary of this place. On the weekend there is a night club un the hotel. They send an email after booking advising there is music until 3 am. It is not music. It's a night club and the whole room was vibrating until 3am. Staff were unhelpful when we arrived. Just kept saying it was highlighted when booking. It wasn't. We received an email after booking.

Small European style rooms that are comfortable and clean. We stayed one night and were so pleasantly pleased with this property. They have a rooftop smoking patio and security was great in that a fob was provided so others eating in the restaurant could not wander upstairs to the guest rooms. Highly recommend this hotel. Dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Please note the hotel has no parking but street parking was easily found. Loved this hotel in the heart of Carlingford. Staff were also so helpful.

Thoroighly enjoyed our stay! Located in the centre of Carlingford its a great central spot. Spotlessly clean modern rooms and a well decorated bar and restaurant area. The staff are super friendly and the establishment has a real friendly vibe. The food is excellent too!! All in all, a wonderful wee gem that we shall definitely be returning to. Would not recommend - the venue had a disco on until 2am on the Saturday. Our room could feel the vibrations of the music speakers it was so loud. Bed was also partially broken, the springs had clearly gone. Room wasn’t turned over on the Saturday. One member of staff was also quite passive aggressive to my elderly in laws which wasn’t appreciated regarding doors or breakfast times. Location wise fine and food was good but not worth the rating or money.

Nice accommodations with restaurant/pub downstairs. Enjoyed the musician that evening. No designated parking but street and neighboring lots available.

This was a once off. We thought location was a factor. It turned out to be not as expected. On our first night, there was music in the bar - directly under our room (1) This went on until 00.05. We were told we had quiet room! The room was vibrating with the noise. After which hordes of drunken revellers rolled out onto the street. Shouting and yelling went on for some time. There appeared to be no police prescence. If we were to go to Carlingford again... and that's a big IF - we would stay well outside the town.

The only real issue was the parking. Street parking only which meant a decent walk usually. If you don’t have a rental then it would be better.

Everything was great, staff, food, accommodation but particularly the staff..so naturally friendly and welcoming all of them. A great punt there also.

Beautiful, convenient setting. Very friendly staff. Good food at restaurant. No dedicated parking. Rooms need some attention. Light for bathroom mirror didn’t work. Lots of stairs to climb.

Love the property and great staff!! Only request is to not have smoking after hours on the roof during the summer as the noise is disturbing for the adjacent rooms
