Staying here is like camping out. Lukewarm water the first dat and no water at all the second day. The family who run the place woke us up with a very loud argument. The room was dirty. TV didnt work. Lots of ants in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok. Dont stay here if you like getting a good nights rest.

A hospedagem tinha uma localização boa. Era perto do sítio arqueológico, restaurantes, e uns 15 min de caminhada da estação ferroviária. É uma hospedagem simples, mas alguns pontos a considerar para melhorar: deixar os quartos equipados para chegada dos hóspedes. No meu quarto faltou toalha e papel higiêncio. Também não haviam ligado a água. Fora isso, a senhora que nos atendeu era bem simpática.

La recepción está muy descuidada, los sofás sucios, hay perros libres en la propiedad, el baño está deteriorado, un poco sucio, el agua para ducharse estaba helada. La habitación es amplia, las sábanas limpias y cómodas, el personal es amable, las vistas desde la habitación en el último piso son hermosas con un amplio patio y la habitación tiene muchas ventajas, eso fue muy agradable. El desayuno es fruta, pan, café y te. La ubicación es como a 7 minutos caminando a la plaza central en caminos empedrados. No había servicio de Uber en la zona.

We loved staying here! The family were lovely and accommodating. They took through the wilderness in their back yard and beyond which was super cool. The rooms were comfortable and we especially loved our patio overlooking the town and endless festivals (do they ever end?!?!). There wasn't hot water, but that is what we expected for this price. I would recommend!

Nous avons sonné plusieurs fois. Personne ne s’est présenté. Nous avons attendu en vain dans un salon à la réception avec tapis à poils longs dégueulasse et des divans sales et miteux. Nous sommes allés dormir ailleurs: hôtel Intitambo, très bien!

No one was there when we came to check in so we hung out in the courtyard with the dogs and cats which was really cute. The bed and bathroom was very clean. There was a few crumbs on a cabinet but it was well worth the stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Terrible. Somebody stole two expensive T-shirts from our room!!! And no breakfast provided which was included and promised to us previous day!!! Dont go there at all. I travel a lot and it happened for the first time to me!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast that is included was very tasty. There were some stains on the bedding; however it was clean. The mattresses were definitely old and in need of replacing. Location was fine - only a few mins walk from the main square and archeological sites.

It depends what are you looking for. If you always like to stay in a Hyatt or Westin then this is not for you. I have stayed on luxury to budget hotels also, but this place needed a special shout out. I wanted a real Peru experience and this place checked all the boxes. The staff here is amazing and they treat you like a family. Magarin is the girl that deserves a special mention. The breakfast she served was better than most of the hotels I have had in the US. And she was so attentive and running around. The bathroom was extremely clean and had hot water. The beds were well done and comfortable. For the price I paid this was a steal. The backyard was beautiful and you could hear the roosters. There was a cute dog and other animals. Lovely place.

A family hostel at a 10 min walk from the center. Nice clean room with a view on the garden and mountains. Owner doesn speak any english so that was a pity. If he arranges a taxi you pay 3x the price. Also the room we booked was al of a sudden more expensive but after some discussion we got the room that was promised. But we could leave our luggage for a night while going to Aguas Calientes and we had a good time in Ollantaytambo.

El dueño del establecimiento fue muy atento. Se preocupó de imprimirnos los boletos del tren en plena madrugada. Las camas estaban impecables. Había televisión por cable. Gracias a su ubicación pudimos conocer el hermoso centro histórico de Ollantaytambo, lleno de callejuelas de piedra, e incluso nos metimos en una de las chicherías con los naturales del lugar. Como no podíamos desayunar en la madrugada, nos prepararon una lonchera para cada uno, muy prácticas, aunque una de las cuatro mandarinas no estaba en buen estado y tuvimos que tirarla.

El Señor del hotel muy amable, muy atento, hay falencias en la limpieza, falta de amabilidad de la administradora.

Ich war mit Freunden im Heiligen Tal und wir fragten uns etwas, wie die guten Bewertungen zu Stande kamen. Kein „delicious breakfast“, sondern eher rationiertes Notprogramm aus (ich nenns mal) Anden-Brot, Marmelade, Butter und Ei. Da wir zu dritt waren, wurden 2 kleine Kugeln Butter und ein Mini-Schälchen Marmelade sowie 5 Anden-Brötchen knapp. Es wurde nicht so gern gesehen, wenn man um Butter, Kaffee und Marmelade erneut bat. Wir kauften dann ab dem 2. Tag einfach n paar Dinge auf dem Markt ein und ergänzten unseren Frühstückstisch. Frühstück gibts leider auch erst ab 8 Uhr...für Ausflüge manchma etwas spät...(keine Lunchpakete) Sauberkeit, nach meinem hohen Maßstab, ib meinem Zimmer/Bad eher ok. Bett war sauber, ohne Hundehaare oder Getier! Teilweise wirkte alles sehr abgewohnt. Auf dem Kleiderschrank lag Staub und Müll. Ich hatte ne Schabe auf dem Boden. Bad war bei mir ok, hatte allerdings noch den Badmüll der Vorgänger im Eimer. Bei meinen Freunden waren Haare in der Dusche. Matratze indes super! Da mein Zimmer gleich unten rechts war und die Vermieter aus der Lobby ihr Wohnzimmer machen, laut und lang TV schauen, ist es, meiner Meinung nach, spät abends weniger erholsam. Auch morgens wurde, in meiner Wahrnehmung, wenig Rücksicht auf Gäste genommen; ab 5:30 Uhr gepoltert, geräumt, recht laut gesprochen. Anmerken möchte ich, dass ich auch in Deutschland Frühaufsteherin bin ;) Doch wäre es einfach schön, etwas ruhiger in den Tag starten zu können.

Chickens and pigs in their large backyard, rooms very spacious and clean, same as the bathrooms. Adorable dogs.

The staff was so incredibly warm and helpful with any and everything. Would stay again just because of their hospitality. Bathroom was super clean, bright with hot water. Room was cozy with a heater to keep us warm at night and a view of the mountains. Overall beautiful place!

Um lugar excelente para familias que pretendem conhecer a região de Ollantaytambo e embarcar no trem para Machu Picchu.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had an authentic feeling to it and it was very clean. Beautiful location next to the river.

Quaint, quiet, and a little rustic. The staff was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Hotel located about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (uphill, but walkable). Short walk to the Ollantaytambo ruins. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was bread, eggs, coffee, tea. Wifi was fine. Next door to the main chapel of the festival of the epiphany (early January), with some of the best seats in the house. Not fancy, but met all our needs and more.

Very close from everything and the service pretty good.
