STAY AWAY. The worst lodging experience I've had in all of Europe. Issues before I even arrived - took 5+ phone calls and two emails to get check in details, and then got conflicting info with different codes. Room did not look like pictures. Room is directly above some sort of club that attracts the sloppy drunken karaoke and sad lifelong alcoholic crowds. Music blasting from before 8am till after midnight, with music turned up from 8pm onwards. The room vibrates with bass and it's like trying to sleep in the bar itself as the degenerates decide karaoke is a good idea after too many shot well tequila shots. The window was wide open when I arrived, which I thought was weird because it was cold. Within five minutes of closing it, the room filled with an overwhelming smell of mould and cigarettes. The cigarette smell in this non-smoking room appeared to mostly come from the vents in the bathroom, although there are piles of cigarette butts on the awning just below the window as well, so not real a non-smoking room is it? There is a clicker for the AC, but the unit doesn't work. Two hair dryers in the room, neither of them work. TV doesn't work. Half the lights don't work. Kettle didn't work. Safe didn't work. Mismatched hangers broken. Heated towel bar in shower room didn't work. Found someone's vape pen on top of the fridge. Sheets had holes in them. Pool and hot tub were heavily advertised as amenities and pictured, but pool was stone cold and filthy. You can see the layer of grime on the steps from several floors up in my pictures. They didn't say anything about these amenities not being available or only being seasonal. Hot tub cold. I asked for it to be heated after my first night so I could use. Someone texted back and promised it would be heated. Came back on second night and it was still cold. Night three the monitor said it was 39 degrees but lukewarm water is certainly not 39 degrees so looks like that's broken too. Lots of excuses, zero solutions, which seems to be a running them in reviews of this place. After I complained late at night about the noise from the bar on night two, they told me that it would be over by 11pm. It wasn't, but even if it was that would be ludicrous. 11pm? So what, no one is allowed a moment of peace in the hotel room they paid for until the middle of the night and that's what you're calling your EXPECTATION? Put that on your website if that's the case. "The room is a nightclub until 11pm AT LEAST every single night, but we'll go past that time if the guy screeching into the microphone feels like it." Oh and then whoever is in the room upstairs was sliding furniture across the ceiling all night every night as well, so you're getting noise from all sides. Some random woman wandering the halls asked me for my ID after the second night, after which I complained about the endless noise from the club below, which is conveniently mentioned nowhere and not shown in photographs. Funny how the club/hotel only cares about complying with Croatian tourism authority laws and want guests to provide personal information when they're not happy with their experience. Please stay somewhere else, anywhere else.
