The hotel was in a great area close to the restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant.

When we arrived we were told that our booking through Hotels.com did not exist. Obviously a breakdown in communication between the two companies. I don’t know who gets the blame, but it cost us a lot of grief.

Great pool and shared area. Relatively easy access. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Casa dos Carvalhos was excellent. The place is sparkling clean and the design of the the guest house is neat and elegant. High ceilings and natural wood create the atmosphere of upscale leaving. We would like to specifically thank the staff at Casa dos Carvalhos for their hospitality, we felt welcome there.

Very nice and clean facility. The property host Ana is very gracious and friendly. Room decor is modern and pleasing. Upper rooms have balconies with nice view of the city. Kitchen facilities onsite if required. Some walking involved to get into the historic center.
