Seaview is very nice.

Clean room and well suited for us for one night of visiting family for a night out. Was clean, modern, sizeable and lovely.

A spacious room with a nice view right in the sweet spot of Southsea. Minimal amenities but friendly and efficient service.

Polite and helpful staff, close to Southsea centre and sea front. Very close D-Day museum. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.

Could not get the wifi to work. Stuggled to close the bathroom door. The main room door had to be pushed shut even though it was a fire door with a self closure on it.

Staff are very helpful and room was clean. Only down side is the coffee and tea are not the best and not good for anyone with disabilities. But overall a nice place to stay for a few days .

Was ok for a 1 night stay. The door had to be forced open to get into the hotel room (Room 6). Fairly basic.

Certainly didn’t feel welcome. Just a very basic room, no bedside tables, tiny bathroom, sliding door to bathroom wouldn’t close. Very thin duvet, cold room.blinds tatty. Small television.

We were staying at Q8 for The Great South Run and the staff at Q8 could not have been more helpful! I emailed in advance to see if there would be a fridge available to keep our breakfast to have before the run and they responded within an hour to confirm they would sort this for us and we could use the fridge in the lounge area. On the day of the run the weather was awful so we asked if there was anyone coming into our room and if not whether we could pop back for a shower after the run before we made our car journey back. Again they couldn’t have been more helpful and let us use the room which made such a difference to us when we were tired and wet. I really can’t thank the staff at Q8 enough - they really made a big difference to our stay and would definately stay again. Thank you!

Wouldn't stay here again. The room was clean & beds comfortable. However, I booked a family room & the room we had certainly wasn't! Room was very small & single beds very close together, it was small even for 2 people. Also, nowhere for clothes etc apart from a very small rail with 1 coat hanger. Couldn't have stayed for more than 1 night. Something else that seemed odd was the hotel staff pushing to be paid in cash in return for a small discount. There are better hotels around.

Stay was ok, apart from a very nice welcoming young receptionist it was mediocre. Didnt seem to customer orientated

Bit noisy outside during the night but we didn’t realise the window was ajar, which probably didn’t help! Room was lovely. Great views. Bed very comfortable
