Lovely hotel, great location. Unfortunately the water in the bathroom was not very hot

Great hotel. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and a nice canal view. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely consider this hotel for our next visit to Skipton.

We had a very nice stay . The food in the restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was exceptional . The only thing we thought was that our room the midland was quite noisy. We would stay there again but probably try and get a room at the rear.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Only one evening due to a wedding reception , the band noise disturbed my sleep 😴 but overall my stay at the hotel was very pleasant.

Good selection for breakfast. Would have preferred coffee/tea to be served rather than carrying hot cups/teapots through the bar area to the restaurant area. Poor quality bread for guests who require gluten free options. Would also prefer tables to be set for meals rather than cutlery in buckets. Others using the table before us had probably touched the cutlery rather than it being freshly set for each guest.

Very comfortable room with a superb shower located in Herriot House. Food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Free parking was very convenient. Would definitely use again.

This was an enjoyable stay despite steep stairways.

Our bedroom, whilst one of the dearer ones, was incredibly noisy from the traffic outside. Think the room could have benefited from triple glazed windows. Also would have liked some cold meats and cheese on the breakfast buffet.

I’m 67 years old and I can honestly say it’s the freshly cooked breakfast I’ve ever been served 👍💪

Loved the hotel. Placed in a very good location, easy to get to where we needed to be.

Great food, good size rooms and comfy beds. Would get a higher rating if bathroom and shower were better.

We stayed in the house next door to the hotel. Lovely room. Needed some more electric sockets though.
