Room in the "old wing" was brutally noisy all night until the early hours of the morning on a Friday night with no warning, no earplugs provided. Very disappointing.

No on site parking even though on Expedia it said it had ( not the hotels fault and there is city parking about a block away) - but the staff and cleanliness were great. Didn’t love the location but hotel was good and as I said staff excellent.

Unfortunately I had a pretty poor experience at this hotel. Sketchy unprofessional vibes from staff and venue. The gut feeling from guest encounters is that it is used primarily for alternative activities, but not a typical hotel stay. The cleaning staff was kind and professional. Art work was either female nudity imagery or violence themed, so combined, these elements aren’t welcoming to women. For example, above my bed was a resin coated bloody glove and a canvas of a hack saw as art. No women seem to work at the establishment, only men. Neighbourhood wasn’t the safest, which is fine, but the hotel has no parking, so you do need to figure that out and walk with your bags back to the hotel. They don’t make it clear that if you book a standard room here, it’s above a night club. So then upon arrival, you are required to upgrade to be able to have a normal amount of quiet. Free wifi, coffee pods and bag of popcorn in the room. High quality shampoo and soap and clean room.

Friendly Staff, lovely room and great location

This was a wonderful day and exactly what we were looking for in Toronto. We had an amazing time in all the staff was very friendly very helpful and very knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Super cool hotel, you’ll feel like you stepped in another era. I love the decor! The front desk staff was super helpful! Our room was super cute and cozy. We were in the new wing. It was nice and quiet. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous. Word of caution; the shower floor is really slippery! The windows don’t open, which is usually fine, but the room was a bit stuffy. Unfortunately, when we turned the air on, it was really loud and non stop. We turned it off during the night just so we could sleep. We didn’t eat on site but we did order a pot of coffee up to the room as we don’t do Nespresso…

The Drake Hotel was amazing. We were greeted by Nazmi. He was quite the gentleman he offered to bring in my luggage. He came outside, held the door directed us where to park and when our room wasn’t quite ready, gave us the rooftop Suite fifth floor 501. It was the best I felt like a queen, I felt spoiled it was spotless. It was amazing, the only thing better would be if I was there in the summer to enjoy that beautiful balcony and then the next morning we had the best breakfast ever and the waiter was fantastic. So happy it was just the icing on the cake. Thank you for a beautiful stay will definitely be back oh, and to top it all off the nostalgic photo booth , cherished memories thank you
