Small but cozy stay! It would be better if the lighting in the room was a little brighter. Or add some white light sources would make it better too! Thank you for the owner to make us a delicious breakfast! Even though we woke up late have missed the breakfast time!

地點在山裡 泥石路 天氣不好時開車千萬要注意 但小木屋非常溫馨 主人非常友善 天氣好時絕對是看極光的好地點 小木屋有小廚房可簡單料理 It is a cozy, clean and small house with a small kitchen. Great spot to see Aurora if possible. The host is very friendly. Highly recommend. However, be careful to drive there if the weather is bad.

A serene, mid-nature location, cool, compact functional cabins, a superb breakfast and great CS. A minor con is lack of common area seating

Absolutely amazing stay, the staff is superb and the dinner is so good. The room itself is also super clean and well equipped with everything. The surrounding is super good. We will come back again for sure!

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Nette Leute, super feines Essen und sehr Hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Koffer muss man zumachen und haben fast kein Platz im Zimmer. Das Lammfilet unbedingt probieren.

The staff was very kind and warm. Rooms were super comfy and quiet with nice little private decks looking out over the countryside.

This was by far the best place we stayed in Iceland. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The restaurant was good for dinner. Breakfast included was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful. The location was remote but beautiful. Would have liked to stay here longer.

Outstanding. Exactly what you hope for in a host. Absolutely delightful chat with the owner about places ro see; great food; easy everything. The views from bed are outrageously beautiful to wake up to. (Bonus for those with long/ thick hair, the water pressure was phenomenal)

The staff here is really friendly and helpful. The meal I ate there was the best I had during my entire Iceland trip. Be sure to let them know you want to eat there. The room was really nice. The location is perfect if you’re planning on visiting the Snaeffelsnes Peninsula region. I drove around Iceland staying at a different place every night and this was my favorite.

This place is absolutely majestic. The rooms are well thought out and comfortable. They really put the personal into your personal space. The food at the restaurant was top notch at dinner and breakfast. The host Gudrun is very personable. Thanks for the tip on the puffins it was fantastic

The view from our unit was incredible!! We loved sitting and looking out onto the view. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was beautiful. Our pre-ordered supper of cod was very tasty and wonderfully prepared. The owner was personable and we enjoyed chatting with her. All in all it was a wonderful experience!!!! It was one of our best stays in Iceland.

My only regret is we didn’t book another night!!

Non ho potuto dare 6 stelle perché non ci sono, ma le avrebbe meritate! Lodge bellissima (ho preso la mountain view) pulitissima e in ottime condizioni. Ristorante disponibile (consigliato il pesce del giorno, spesso pescato da loro). Buona colazione e giusta attenzione. Tutto perfetto. Grazie.

Très bel endroit au calme. Jolie chambre très bien aménagée et une propriétaire très accueillante et faisant la promotion des sites à visiter pour la journée du lendemain.Bon petit déjeuner avec de gaufres à la demande. Prix un peu plus élevé que la moyenne puisque prix le plus élevé de notre circuit de 12 nuits et supérieur de 63€ sur la moyenne de nos nuits. Tarif encore plus élevé sur un site concurrent. Le repas proposé était très bon, il est le bien venu dans cet endroit très isolé de tout, à un prix raisonnable pour l'Islande.

Great property, a bit of a difficult location. Beautiful scenery, clean comfortable room. Getting to it from Reykjavik would be super simple in the summer, other seasons you are driving through the mountains.

The location was great, quiet and minimal background lighting. The northern lights were impressive. Our host prepared a delicious breakfast with a lot of variety.

Amazing. Everything about this place is perfection. Best meals I had in my Icelandic travels, cabins are beautifully furnished, the the location is breathtaking.
