Spent some quality time in the middle of wilderness, a luxury experience for someone live in a city. Stars and aurora can be seen by just look up to the sky, highly recommended.

All of us agreed that the most impressive part of the trip was the hotel, which was so beautiful and comfortable that we would definitely stay back!

The house is great, sauna is excellent! But the wifi is very disappointed, always no signal!!! The keeper should read the guest book, most of them complain the wifi!!!! The keeper is a nice man, our car was trapped in the snow, he helped us escape and escort us to the beach next morning. The phone no. provided by expedia cannot reach the keeper.

Struttura bellissima dotata di tutti i comfort tra cui sauna all’interno e vasca con acqua calda all’esterno immersa nel verde. La strada per arrivare è sterrata e può risultare un po’ difficoltosa se si ha una macchina bassa ma ne vale davvero la pena!

The property itself was immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor areas and a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals (there are no restaurants around the area). There is also a washer and dryer so you can do laundry. The only downside are the road conditions to the property; they are rocky and not well paved. The hotel does not have a proper check in / front desk, so locating the exact building for me to pay for the stay was a bit challenging.

We like the house, The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and laundry facilities. The house is comfortable and the view is nice!

The property manager, the Italian fellow, was so nice. I regret I have forgotten his name but you cannot miss him. He is enthusiastic accommodating and so helpful.

Amazing place to stay, we will definitely be back

We loved our stay here, only wish we could have stayed longer. We read in a previous review a guest needed help to get their car up the road. We had no problems in a 4x4. The road is an F road, but didn’t expect anything else to reach the view we had.

This is a magical place. It is hard to get to, especially during a snowstorm, so be aware. Make sure to get an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Other than that, communication with the staff/property manager/owner was great and they are very helpful. We had a great time!

Great isolated location, wish I booked two nights instead of just one!

Very good property and nice location. Hot tub and sauna was great. Angelos was very kind to put the hot tub on for us as we were running late. Highly recommended

Great stay! Property is down a long gravel lane or snowy depending when you go 😃 Reception is easy to find & someone was waiting for us upon arrival, he took us straight to the accommodation and shown us around Really nice host, the property is stunning and we had no issues The hottub we got a little use of, as you really need to be there constantly putting wood in and with limited hours we were out majority of the day So although we got it to warm, we wish we had a little longer stay to have a day at the accommodation Couldn’t recommend anymore though! Great stay - we hope to return soon

Excellent view but a bit far away from vik

Beautiful and peaceful spot, quite off the beaten track. There’s a long road in but the host met us and took us to the apartment. He showed us around and explained how everything worked. The wood-fired hot tub was a cool experience but quite laborious taking 5 hrs to heat up and having the stock wood every hour as it was quite cold while we stayed here. The place is a little older and the bathroom was extremely unclean. The toilet, wall behind and floor still had the remnants of a previous quests diarrhea which was extremely gross. There were no extra towels (got only one each) or hand towels, blankets etc which was tricky over a multi-day stay with a hot tub. The coffee maker and kitchen amenities were ‘old school’ so the manual coffee experience wasn’t the best for us coffee lovers. Ground coffee was provided which was ok, no sugar and few spices etc. The beds were on the hard side, so if you like that, great. There’s a nice size space to hang out but the tv is very basic so don’t expect to use it for much. We didn’t get to see the Aurora while staying there but the large picture windows are beautiful and the views stunning! The host was very kind and communicative.

This was our absolute favorite place to stay in all of Iceland!!! Magnificent ❤️
