it's a good and clean place, quiet, has light breakfast options. it is quite far into richmond, past the richmond-brighouse train station, if you're taking transit. but they do offer transit to/from YVR as long as you ask about it before hand, for an extra cost. the host was nice and communicative.

I paid $210 per night for a small, overpriced room with no private bathroom and very little privacy. The bathroom was shared, and there was a camera installed outside it, which made me feel like the owner was monitoring and photographing me every time I used the bathroom. It was an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. The property is advertised as a hotel, but it's actually just a room in a private house. The owner was rude, unresponsive, and unhelpful throughout my stay. I would not recommend wasting your money here. For the same price, you're much better off booking a legitimate hotel.

Carl is an excellent host! His home is in a quiet neighborhood, yet a short walk to shops and restaurants. His house is well maintained and clean. I’ll definitely return!

This is a hidden gem in the Vancouver area. Carl the host and his wife are helpful and responsive. I had the master bedroom. It’s huge and clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything was organized. Close to the airport, shopping mall, with a lot of great Chinese restaurants around. 房子和房东都靠谱

I had a wonderful stay at Better Bed House. Everything from the hospitality to the cleanliness and overall comfort was excellent. The property was very well maintained, peaceful, and extremely accessible to everything I needed during my stay. The host was kind, professional, and very accommodating, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from beginning to end. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Better Bed House to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay. It was clean and the property manager was very responsive. However, he was kinda impulsive to have the shuttle service. He was just pushy and misguiding about the crowded road and even took the longer route to bring us to property.
