Nice lodgings. We had a large room . Only downside was we expected breakfast but rhey denied us. We had to pay extra.

What a wonderful surprise! When we checked in, we were treated like we were valued guests. We parked in the “driveway” with assistance from the staff. The room was basic - but had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. We received an excellent recommendation for dinner - just a few minutes walk from the room - a truly superb meal at Diane Restaurant. I was impressed that a cooked breakfast was included. We had two servers - each more pleasant than the other who wanted to make sure we enjoyed the meal. We looked up places to visit the following morning, and visited the Roman ruins of an Imperial Palace in town - a short drive away with easy parking. The ruins have been covered in a large building. There were perfect descriptions in English. There were a maximum of four visitors when we were there. This was a great value overall - and much thanks to the two staff members who helped make our visit a memorable experience.
