Breakfast was adequate, staff were polite & helpful, room was a little small but for a short stay it was manageable.

We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Carmen Granada. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family, making it a great place to relax after exploring the city. The location is excellent, with easy access to many of Granada’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. One of the highlights of our stay was the magnificent rooftop pool and bar, where we enjoyed beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, amazing rooftop area, excellent breakfast and good amenities. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada

Fantastisk frokost og svært hyggelig betjening. Nydelig takterrasse med fantastisk utsikt over Granada mm. Restauranten der oppe serverte veldig god mat. Negativt var rommet som hadde en svært dårlig intern beliggenhet.

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable . The staff was exceedingly friendly, and of course BHeaven and the pool on the roof were exquisite for serenity breaks. Outstanding views from the roof. The breakfast buffet was large with a complete range from cereals to eggs & meats to fruits.

Very lovely breakfast…. It had lots of cooked and not Fried vegetables and salads. Great variety. The location is central and walkable to Alhambra. The pool on the roof is spectacular 💕

Very nice stay at Barceló Carmen in connecting rooms for a family of 4. It’s a modern, fancy, professionally-run operation. The beds were comfortable and despite the bedlam outside after Spain won the World Cup, the rooms were quiet! There were 3 downsides, which still left us with an overall positive experience: 1. ANTS! Tons of ants in our first room. Like hundreds, maybe more; they were carrying food (not our food) across our floor to the bathroom. The front desk helped clean them up and changed us rooms the next day with no charge. We were not compensated in any way, but we felt like they took the problem seriously. 2. The rooftop pool is nice but very small. As soon as it gets busy, it becomes a standing pool rather than a swimming pool. And 3. The elevator was quite a long walk through many hallways to get to our room

Wifi sucks. Breakfast buffet was great. Pool area is small and outdated.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo per quattro notti in realtà ne avevamo prenotate tre ma poi ci siamo trattenuti per una notte in più proprio per tutti i servizi la comodità, la posizione, la indubbia bellezza di Granada ma la struttura è comunque una struttura che ha tutto certamente la piscina potrebbe essere un po’ più grande però comunque sia offre un servizio utile comodo soprattutto nelle ore calde strutture e camere comunicanti in realtà nel nostro caso era la richiesta che avevamo fatto ed hanno un’intelligentissima opportunità di separare due camere con una porta intermedia di modo che è come se fosse un unico appartamento unico intoppo non c’è nulla per fermare la porta aperta😂😂😂

Well-located hotel, with an easy walk to the Alhambra. Clean, comfortable room and common areas. Excellent breakfast. Lovely rooftop terrace. The pool is really small (it's for cooling down, not swimming) and there isn't space for many sunbeds (maybe 10 sunbeds?) so there were often people waiting to use them. The gym is well-equipped but on weekday mornings it seems to be used by a personal trainer for an exercise class so you can't actually use much of the equipment. It was fine when I went back mid-afternoon but it was a bit annoying to not be able to use the gym first thing in the morning as I had planned. Despite these minor complaints, I would stay here again. It is a high quality hotel for a good price.

Our room was very nice and clean. Enjoyed both the restaurant and rooftop bar. The staff was very helpful. We were dealing with lost luggage and they helped us coordinate laundry service. Our only complaint would be that the gym was nice and useful as advertised, but a trainer used it for private training group classes while we were in there and they took up all the room, made us leave certain areas, and occupied the majority of the equipment. It seemed inappropriate. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay in Granada! The rooftop bar is the perfect place to relax in the nighttime- we were able to watch a World Cup game there while enjoying drinks and the view! Good location- not quite in the historic center but close, with lots of public transportation options nearby. My only caution is the pool- it is much smaller than it looks in the online pics- good for a dip but you can’t really swim in it, and while we were there it was quite full of splashing children having a great time.
